Looks like for what the X-M5 is trying to do, it really nails it out of the park. You have a camera that's affordable, that has a lot of power in video modes, sufficient power in stills for burst rate and autofocus, but adds a lot of creative options particularly for newer shooters. Add in the mic and headphones jacks, and it's compelling in it's class. I mean, it's no X-T5 or X-Pro4, but it wasn't trying to be. IBIS wouldn't have hurt, but for the price and the size and the class of camera it's shooting for, seems like the X-M5 accomplishes it's goals.

@@Mathew-vlogs The Sony ZV-E10 II is a very similar $1000 APS-C video/vlog focused camera also without IBIS. No beginner vlogger cares about 6k open gate or 10 bit files. And no beginner photographer cares about how many frames per second they can get or the difference in color science. The vlogger just wants a camera that gets him. And the photographer just wants to nail the shot. Again, it’s just my opinion, but I think most people would agree with me.

Good preview, can't wait for the review. Nice colors too. Entertaining and informative as always. The shots coming from the 16-55 mkii look promising. The compromises it understandably come with given its price is acceptable. I don't mind it not having IBIS or an EVF. I'm just picturing this out in silver paired with a silver TTartisan 27mm f2.8, that would be my dream X100VI budget alternative.

Came here for a camera review, left with a crazy beatbox line from Chris 😂

Not gonna lie... the image quality took a HUGE hit when you turned on e-stabilization. Wow, I really hope they fix that before release.

9:20 classic Fuji, can't focus on a face, even if it's basically filling the frame. Glad I ditched my X-h2 long ago. 🤭

Nice tease having the 500mm f/5.6 as a prop in Jordan's video spec breakdown! :)

how is it if I use it with viltrox 75mm?

Hmmm! Maybe it's time for Panasonic to release something in this category level competition, that's becoming more and more interesting day by day. It would be nice to see an improved version of the Lumix G95, or just a completely new proposition from Lumix.

So what's the aperture on that lens? I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Edit: oooh the lens is interchangable! I thought it was a fixed lens camera
