I have this handle set on my garage door but my key broke the other day (not in the handle). I’ve ordered a new kit. Can I drill the key hole out in order to turn the handle to open the door?

@@garagedoorgenius correct. It’s a converted garage. The garage section is only around 6ft deep. No access from inside. That’s a bedroom now.

You had to be a little nervous doing that in the middle of the square. But like you said measure twice cut once. I'm living the pov you did great!

Thank you for the feedback Cody! I wasn't too keen myself if the middle square was what the customer wanted but they preferred that area for the handle. So glad it worked out in the end. I appreciate your support!

And if you ever get locked out from the inside of your garage you can always pull the cables so it disengage is it from the lock
