Ha, loved the juxtaposition of the different styles of play. Going from Andy's careful and calm style to Mikes, um, lets say energetic play was very fun. As was Janes adorable muttering of adaptability. I'm more an Andy style of man myself - funner having no one know you were there. And the Pendletons deserve more than just death; what Slackjaw does to them is excellent.

I was watching some old shows of the week the other day and on one from like a year ago you guys all played a Splinter Cell game. Andy went through only incapacitating when absolutely necessary, Jane stealthfully murdered everyone, and Mike shot anything that moved. Nice to see some things don't change.

One thing I never understood about Slackjaw needing the combination: WHY DOES HE NEED THE COMBINATION? Seriously, it's a f*kn three digit number that, when entered, will automatically open the safe. There's no failsafe for getting the code wrong. He's been after it "for _months_ " according to him. You could just have a guy sit there for like, an hour or two just turning the dials and it'll open eventually.

Xolotl Nephthys Just this last week I went through the game again and tried my best to not kill anyone. I in total killed about 20 enemies (people/weepers) through the whole game. I got the low chaos ending and I was Andy all the way through. Plus I found out that doing it stealthily on some missions was easier than doing it loud. I had so much fun.

Stay in sneak (crouch). If you watch Jane's parts she often isn't sneaking which is why people turn around and see her. It's really important to be sneaking when you are on pipes above guards as well or they WILL hear you and give you that line (as well as throw rocks at you).

I also should add for Mike, I got a couple of sadistic ways to end a life for you. Stopping time and attaching a springrazor to a crossbow bolt you fired, luring a guard into shooting at you and using a stop time possess combo to mysteriously replace your target in front of the shot, making a throwawable springrazor by attaching it to a bottle or glass (or for the super evil, grenade) and hucking it...

Today, I decided to play my very first BioShock game. I started with the second, since I didn't feel like playing a game that was too old. I realised exactly how similar Dishonored and BioShock are, it's pretty evident. Powers based off a bar that recharges from drinking, a limited number of slots for passives that give bonuses, items scattered arounds to pick up (especially food), storable restore items that are activated with hotkeys (though the EVE restore item was automatic), and a young character that you had to rescue. Dishonored is more like Hitman, though, and is a bit more open.

It was like it was pure animal instinct. You've mastered your technique for ensuring you've made a kill. Desensitized much? It's fine.

Total stealth is easy with only blink, but don't fail to neglect the massive number of ways to get around with other powers. For example, possessing a fish and swimming through the grate into the sewers below the manor is a surprisingly easy way to get into lady Boyle's party.
