Your channel is on my top ten YT list. Reasons I love it are because most of the content is just showing us your work without a lot of extraneous chatter. Not that I don't like listening to your voice, not at all, but you give us important explanations when needed and just let us follow along with the camera. Plus NO clickbait titles! This "quiet" approach to your videos only enhances the peaceful serenity of the outdoors surrounding your cabin. Hope your wife and family are doing well.

@The Outsider- You could cut down standing dead trees and lay them on the wet ground as a drying filler base. It's an old road building technique called "corduroy roads".

I am your number 1 fan, when I'm a grown up/adult, I want to become an architect, the things you do is what an architect needs, you should pave paths, and add grass by sod. It is shown by Take and Make, he had made stuff with concrete, and his designs were really nice. You should watch the part of the concrete fire pit, it was the best design for his backyard.

To put in a proper road and avoid any mess requires a great deal of effort. Many think they can get by with simply removing the sod without taking out the top soil and waste a lot of gravel and time doing just that. Being that you're in a forest and the road has little to no lift, its going to take quite a bit of hauling stone to make it vehicle worthy. Love the porch rails, you've obviously mastered that. A rare trait only few do.

I'm so hyped about the Sauna! Make sure you do your research properly! Here in Finland there are certain rules of thumb what comes to building a Sauna. I don't know if they are available in English, but at least these things come to mind right away: There needs to be enough places for fresh air to come in. Also when you sit on the bench, bottoms of your feet should always be above the stones of the Kiuas or stove.
