This Is Why You Fish Grass Beds in Clear Water (CATCH AND COOK)

In this video I went sight fishing for redfish in my Go Devil boat. The grass ponds had super clear water and I caught enough fish for a catch and cook.

Yeah I didn’t get any ice that day just put some water in there. Trolling motors are such a headache in that thick grass and they spook a lot of fish. I only use them when I really need to

Jarad, biggest red I ever caught was about a pound when I was around 10 or 11! But it did make an impression as it happened about 75 years ago in Daphne Alabama! Fishing off a pier using bait caught in a hand seine. Take those boys fishing EVERY chance you get! They remember those times all their lives.😊 Great video! Throw the big ones back to make more little ones. Never figured out why they never did that with deer. Shoot the spikes and let the trophy racks make more trophies.

A young deer still has many years of breeding left. An older deer already had a few years. Plus the trophy aspect. The smaller fish taste better in my opinion

Awesome nothing more fun then sight fishing for red fish. If you ever do bank fishing for catfish you need to try at tye violet boat launch where you was throwing the cast net from your last video caught some monster catfish there mostly fishing wright on side of the shrimp factory.
