If you get lots of problems with cats, check out videos on carp zig rigs. Your lead on the bottom with bait suspended high in the water. Cats are mainly bottom feeders, carp are too but they'll take a bait in front of them if they are swimming mid water. You can adjust zigs to find the water column they are chillin in. They work so well here in the uk, would definitely recommend looking into it.

That corn has worked for me somewhat on carp. One thing is you have to take it off the hair rig after each session or else it gets as hard as a rock and shrinks all up. Enjoyed it Tom. Fish on!

I've always wanted to experiment with those baits but I have to travel far for fishing and I don't want to waste my fishing trip experimenting, always using the safer bait option 😂

How did the Berkeley corn do with staying on the hair? did the fish steal it? I have only ever fished that style of corn straight on the hook. Either way great video sir

It stays on the hair about the same as canned corn does, and the panfish steal it just like canned corn too. 😀

@@OutsidewithTom yeah they were. Gulp makes some funny smelling stuff but it works. I slay pan fish and bass on the gulp alive minnows and big wiper bass and even walleye on the 2inch gulp alive minnows. Good stuff

@@OutsidewithTom agreed. They work hands down and the gulp alive I have caught 10 fish on the same one. Use it with a normal hook or jig head which i like.. Better then night crawlers. Been having a hard time finding the 1inch
