Boulders would do this in City of Heroes since whether or not you hit was determined when you clicked the power. Also, if you missed badly, you would somehow yeet the boulder directly behind you. Or, if you were using a gun or the like, your character would turn around and bend like they're doing limbo to shoot in random directions.
