@Patrick-Phelan4 жыл бұрын
It's actually a beautiful tale of free will and not being ruled over by your creation. 47 was CREATED to be the perfect super-soldier and assassin, but he brilliantly rebels against his genetic destiny by - at least when I'm playing him - getting stuck trying to climb something that can't be climbed often enough that guards become suspicious and shoot him sixty thousand times right in the barcode. That's RADICAL FREEDOM. Sartre would be proud.

Hello! I'm the leader of a Death Cult with a secret lab below our giant haunted mansion, and I'd like to thank you _so much_ for this video! Since it first showed up in the inter-office memos, we've been implementing some changes: -All Experiments (and their human predecessors) now have salaried positions. -The Giant Unstable Idol has a new coat of bubble wrap. (might need to do something about this one, the Demon with knitting needles for fingers keeps getting in the Idol room) -Opt-out cookie tracking has been changed to opt-in. -Coffee filters / coffee grounds ratios have been adjusted. There should now be enough in the Employee Lounge for more than one shift per week. -Break Room has been renamed to Employee Lounge, to clear up some messy misunderstandings with our more violence prone experiments. -401k -Dr. Killstreak has decided to use his mother's maiden name; Fluffkin. This has already lead to an 18% increase in employee retention! -Casual Fridays. Please try to remain professional. Even if you don't have skin, please cover the areas where genitals _would be_ as a courtesy to other Employees and Abominations -An Employee-only gondola has been installed _over_ the Torture Labyrinth. No more long/deadly commutes! -We're taking submissions for the new Cult Name. Apparently "Cult of the Slithering Doom" tested poorly with focus groups... Anyway, didn't want to interrupt your workflow, but there's just one last thing: I've been asked by The Sentient Pile of Meat and the Acolytes of Cannibalism to remind everyone that this Saturday they'll be hosting a BBQ in the mess hall, and they hope to see you there!

There are so, SO many people in FFVII like this. Take Hollander for example, from Crisis Core. He decided to try and make a supersoldier, but something in the genes went funky and instead caused one of the subjects, Angeal, to commit suicide via his protege slashing him to bits, and the other, Genesis, to start crumbling to dust at the ripe old age of 25. After a series of stupid decisions that led to him nearly getting killed, he's forced to take some of Genesis's cells into him to heal, but that also speeds up his demise at a far faster rate than his son's. After a few years, he goes to find someone who he needs to stop his degradation, who unfortunately has very protective mentor, also known as Zack Fair, the game's protagonist. Instead of running away like a reasonable person whenever a superhuman fighter with an egregiously large sword approaches you, he tries to fight. To no one's surprise, he gets defeated. This man is supposed to be a genius scientist!

He's smart enough to figure out who the Batman is and captures him without his equipment to throw into his giant prison city instead of using his brainwashed soldiers to execute him, exactly as he tries to enact the most complicated part of his plan by engineering an armed turf war to justify genociding the entire criminal population. All this, he is able to do because of the assistance of Ra's Al Ghul, who is the Head of the League of Assassins and the closest thing to a Father-in-Law that Batman has. Damn, I love Mark Hamill's voice. It's a bit unfortunate that the voice of a homicidal maniac character brings me so much joy, but here we are.
@shawnfields23694 жыл бұрын
Hey, Mark Hamill isn't a psycho! He just plays 2 of them. Goro Majima, well, at least in Yakuza 2's original PS2 english relase, they replaced the japanese cast with english actors, and Mark Hamill was one of them to play Majima, and didn't do too bad, but we can't forget his role as The Joker. Don't worry, dude/lady, you're not alone there. Mark Hamill's amazing voice brings wonders to millions of people. It's too bad after Arkham City, Hamill isn't returning anytime soon to be the Joker, since The Joker's dead... I mean, Hamill played The Joker in the Batman Beyond tv movie "Return Of The Joker", which took place decades after the end of Bruce Wayne's run as Batman, and there was a new Batman. And it turned out, Tim Drake, the 2nd Robin was the "new" Joker. After spending years being directly affected by Joker gas, it messed with his mind. But this time, really was the end of the Joker. And sadly, Mark Hamill's portrayal as The Joker. But, at least we have his immortalized performances AS The Joker. Something nobody can take away from us, people who enjoyed Mark Hamill's amazing Joker voice. He bought so much life to the character, even when The Joker was dying in Arkham City, ironically enough. Even when he was playing someone other than The Joker, he bought similar energy to other characters. Sure gonna miss The Joker, along with Mark Hamill's performance as The Clown Prince Of Crime... well, as long as you have the memories of the 2 Arkham games, and the memories of Mark Hamill's performance as The Joker in both games, I think you'll be alright, dude/lady.

In the Pokémon games, the big bosses, i.e. Giovanni of Team Rocket, come up with these crazy plans to bring misery upon the world, yet somehow fail because of a ten-year-old child. One that stands out is Lysandre, the leader of Team Flare. He contributes to society, yet is set on destroying the world to “ cleanse it of filth”. He attempts to use the Ultimate Weapon to do so, powered by a Legendary Pokémon, but when the Pokémon is freed, he fires the weapon anyway. Unfortunately, the beam of energy fired from the weapon comes crashing back down on the weapon, destroying both it and Lysandre in the process.

He meant the Spencer Estate where Jill disappeared as Wesker took revenge on Spencer (before Chris and Jill could apprehend Spencer - the entire part with Jill's reveal as his controlled 'underling' is him mocking Chris about it).
