stop it with the hate on OX for playing an EA title. They probably finished the campaign before the whole reddit drama, and i'm fairly certain that if any of you made a (complete) video series with the intent of uploading it, you ain't gonna stop because some shitstorm that happened after finishing the project but before uploading all of it. Plus they aren't even playing the multi player mode (which is the actual problem in the game). And finally: the game itself is amazing, and feels just right to play with a nice atmosphere to it. the only thing that is wrong is the whole p2w/progression thing.

Well actually, the tie fighters are intentionally rotated out in the hangars to ensure that no pilot ever is in the same ship twice to avoid them getting attached to and personalizing their ships. Maybe the stripes are for squadron ID.

The OXtra crew want to play this game, and they find it entertaining. So yeah, EA is responsible for the recent lootbox debacle, and it's a bad move on their part to build the multiplayer progression on it. I personally picked up the game with no intent to play multiplayer (too many kids on multiplayer games today who whine and curse when you beat them), since I only wanted to play the campaign and the offline arcade modes. Basically, I got it so that a friend and I can play offline split-screen as Darth Vader and Luke/Yoda and Emperor Palpatine/Kylo Ren and Rey or Luke, etc, since you do NOT need to pay for ANY of the heroes or other characters in offline mode. It was way more fun than people made it out to be.

Of course you can have fire in space... What did you think a sun was? So long as there is a source of fuel, which there should be loads of in the wreckage of starships. Even water will do if the fire is hot enough as it'll split the oxygen and hydrogen.

A star doesn't burn, it fuses hydrogen then heavier elements when hydrogen runs out. To have a fire, you need fuel, oxygen and heat. There is no oxygen in space apart from what would be on the ships. So Jane is correct, there might be a small fire but it would go out very quickly unless you had an oxidizer but I would hope no one in their right mind would build their ships to burn.

Well if you're gonna get that technical yes, a star doesn't burn. But oxidation doesn't give off light. It gives off heat which creates ionised gas that we see as a flame. That's plasma, the same thing that makes stars look like they're "burning". So anything that's been made hot enough to turn into a gas could be ionised and turn into plasma which would look like fire. And since decompression has already occurred only diffusion would be governing how far the 'flames' are expelled which would tend to stick quite close to the source. So stars = plasma, plasma = flame, stars = flame in space. All that being said... it would burn out a lot quicker than that mission took.

Outside Xbox/Xtra is, whether implicitly or explicitly, endorsing any product they use, giving it massive publicity & even them talking about it makes people want to play. Battlefront is a slap in the face to all gamers, so to have the game on their channel while EA's stock prices free fall, Disney is stepping in, Reddit's record for most disliked post is being shattered, and gamers everywhere are finally speaking with their wallets is simply a terrible idea. It promotes a game everyone should be condemning, it associates their channel with the game, even if only subconsciously, and it gives EA undeserved publicity. It's terrible for their image.

C'mon guys...you're a great channel and your videos are fun to watch but do your viewers a service and abstain from showing games which have an underlying principle of gambling. This move of showing the game alone says volumes about your public stand on such issues. If a game is completely pay to win and exploits gamers will you still showcase the former or finally draw the line?
