My next tattoo is going to be the Animal Crossing leaf symbol on my thumb. Years ago, I had to get surgery on said thumb, and after getting the pin they put in it taken out, the doctor told me not to play video games. But after not playing anything for so long, I was going crazy and decided to play Animal Crossing. When I went for my check up, the doctor asked me what I had been doing, because I had a lot of strength in my thumb. I told her I had been playing a video game, she sighed and said, "Well if you didn't, you wouldn't have strength in your thumb. So I guess keep it up." And because of that, I feel like Animal Crossing saved my thumb.

The thing about Caesar's Legion is that the ancient Romans pronounced most of their "c"s as hard "c"s. So it would in fact be pronounced "kaisar." Which is also where the word Kaiser comes from. And Czar. I'll stop geeking out now.

Tbf they would have pronounced many words differently because they weren’t English, even English was spoken wildly different to today pronouncing the silent K and whatnot. I seriously don’t think that’s why they say it like that in Fallout. it’s far more likely to just be because they’re out of touch with history. Same as the kings thought Elvis was an actual king or the fact there was a black slaver in fallout 3 who didn’t know or care who abraham lincoln was. And again different countries say things different. Polska is Poland, Pari is Paris ect.

He would've known how ancient Latin was pronounced for the same reasons we do - it's in the books. I actually got the chains from the first Bioshock game right along the wrist, and ironically enough, I got them done with my little sister. To the normal people, I tell them it's a bond of sisters, how we're tied together. But really, its deeper than that. I'm the big sister, she's the little sister. It's the first FPS game we played together, and it reminds me that I can make my own choices in life, not let others tell me what to do. It's probably my favorite tattoo.

He is having his tattoos "preserved", you can have this company (don't remember the name of it) send you a kit that a medical professional can use to remove your tattoos so they can be framed, they basically take a thin layer of skin and treat it like leather so you can keep the actual tattoo and have it framed to put on a wall, or whatever you wanna do with it.

You're not the only one...I just had to have blood drawn (labs prior to surgery later this month) and I was a blubbering mess before the nurse even had found the vein and cleaned the site. I have *never* been able to stand needles, partly due to my healing factor... That said, I've also got no problems with most creepy-crawlies (spiders, insects, snakes, etc.)...but I dislike it when it rains and worms are underfoot (mostly because the gunk gets stuck in the treads of my boots and continues to stink).

They support that every community should be able to decide over themselves in a participative democracy system. If you're really sold on a Heartless-themed tattoo, Ellen, I saw a really badass full-arm tattoo at a convention a year or so ago -- it had the Heartless emblem on the upper arm, like the classic heart tattoo, with the thorn patterns winding around their entire arm like a climbing rose. Really wish I'd snapped a photo, it looked sweet. (Also, I'm *loving* the hair color.)

8:31 Really, Andy? Caesar's Legion mispronouncing "Caesar"? I guess it's more a linguistics thing than a history thing, but Latin has no sibilant 'c'. It's always a hard 'k' sound. The historical Romans would have pronounced Caesar as closer to "keyser" or "kay-zar" rather than "sea-zer". As I understand it, the Roman Empire's use of "Caesar" as a title is where the titles of Kaiser and Czar came from.

Late but I'd simply have the Aperture Science logo. There's something about the simplicity of it that appeals to me that and Portal is such a great physics game that I just love. Either that of the Imperial Legion symbol, as Skyrim truly got me into games and I still enjoy it to this day.

Sorry, Ellen but that actually IS the correct Classical Latin pronunciation of Caesar, and not "see-sar." So the Legion is actually more in touch with history. My memories of the game are getting sketchy, but I think it was also used in the game to differentiate a character based on how they see the Legion and their adherence to Caesar's warped image of the Roman Empire. Also, while "throwing star with a butt" is a valid idea of what the Org XIII symbol looks like... another is "ampallang."

I have a tattoo entirely in black, from the base of my neck to the base of my spine of Rebellion, Dante's Sword from DMC: Devil May Cry, it's not the realistic looking one, it's the stylized one with the wings, Kat Bentley, my personal tattooist, did a great job, and because I have such a high pain threshold she was impressed that it only took an hour while I watched and she mainly listened to Blade Runner (one of our favourite movies) on my tablet, I had to travel from the Midlands all the way to Southend-on-sea, but Kat and myself are old University buddies and I trust her with my life, she's also a great tattooist!

Caesar should be pronounced like the German kaiser (which is just the Germanic version of Caesar) because the ae diphthong is pronounced like you would say sky

At least, that's the original roman pronunciation, later languages made a habit of pronouncing latin according to their own rules (and for some reason, most romance languages decided to pronounce the letter C as s, tsh/ch or th when there's E or I after it).

Vampire the masquerade logos are indeed nice I quite like the Ankh and the Tremere's symbol myself. I would also go for a Call of Cthulhu tattoo like the Elder Sign or the Yellow Sign. Maybe one of the runes from Bloodborn or a Bond-fire from Dark Souls would be nice as far as "simple tattoos would go.

I would honestly consider something related to Danganronpa. Yes it's a darkly comedic murder mystery where you watch characters you love get killed off one by one, all orchestrated by a organisation represented by what is basically an evil teddybear/deathmachine, but that series has helped me through some really hard time and often brings me plenty of inspiration. *(I guess you could say that it brought me hope)* As for what I'm not 100% sure, but maybe the school crest worn by one of the characters I really like or relate to. Most of them are really nice and clean soo

Oh no I missed the prev vid! I would've suggested the Darksiders 2 loading screen logo as I love that game and the series, definitly would get it myself (it's also as my pfp ;)). Other suggestions would be one of the pendants from the different schools from the Witcher universe or the signs or one of the signs like Quen, Axii, Igni, Yyrden and Aard. The logo's for the upgrades of the signs are also really cool. I would also suggest something from the Crysis series but I have no idea what kind of tattoo from that series there would be.

An old classmate of mine has this tattoo of Yuna's staff and Tidus' Brotherhood crossed. It's really well done, I especially love the watery details of the sword and the colours they used.
