It is not necessary to apply an indicator if the person in the other lane is more than 50m away. (Atleast that's the rule here in Australia) In the video it looks like the vehicles are too close but they are quite far and I don't see a need to apply the indicators.

One more thingI saw many people commented wrongly. As no signals, heavy tricks ay right side etc. This is wrong. I am travelling twice a year to Kerala from Mumbai. This route is not so empty on occasions heavies come right side but they go back to 3rd track. Also the signaling is very proper and overtaking is never a problem though we feel scary the truck drivers are very disciplined . It's my own experience .

There is no rule like that. Thw rule is "Slow moving vehicles keep left". The Volvo and scania buses are quite fast and they can overtake or drive on the right lane.

Yes.. In ghat area the heavy vehicles comes to right most lane. WHICH IS JUST FOR OVERTAKING. NO CAR OR BUS CAN DRIVE FROM RIGHTMOST LANE. it's the rule of express highway. You'll be fined for doing so. I was fined.

Mumbai Nagpur Super Communication Highways ( समृद्धि महामार्ग ) will be 700 km long access controlled, elevated 8 lane highway expected to be completed by Dec 2020. Construction is in full swing since Jan 19 at 13 different places simultaneously. It will be बाप of Mumbai Pune express way.

This bus driving on middle lane is wrong. As per Indian Road Congress, (which is based on international standards) Buses and Trucks should drive only on left and are at very limited times allowed to overtake. They should overtake on second lane only if it is safe. The 2nd lane should be used any other vehicle and the third lane should be used only for overtake or emergency by the drivers of second lane. Further if speed limit is 80 and you are certain that you are gonna continue that speed of 80 km only then only you should drive on the right most lane. This means even if speed limit is 80 , it doesn't mean all the driver on that route shall drive at 80 kmph all the time. Drivers of second lane shall drive a max of 70 and of the third lane can drive at 65-70. 80 is always for the inner lane that is the right most lane excluding shoulders. The above is only for 3 by 3 that is 6 lane roads and for 4 lane roads the rule slightly vary. Janta k janhit me jaari...

@@yugoyugito8967 It is usual practice to put 20 point difference between designed and legal speed limit. In India government knows that they are not paying well our police personal. So putting speed limit of 100 kmh on a designed 140 kmh road will lead to their money making. We citizens should start follow immediately these ironic laws. Definitely, it will put certain impact on us but with less fertile economy, govt will be force to get the laws perfect.

You are wrong my friend. It's this expressways rule. Rightmost lane is just for overtaking. Middle lane for normal vehicles(cars and buses). Left most lane only for trucks. No overtaking in that lane.

Zooming tunnels came out fine but zooming vehicle crossings were difficult at 80-85kph since on some bumps, there were jerks.
