Rachel, Wow. This week I was once again attempting to teach college freshmen about anticlines, synclines and plunging folds. There was the usual amount of arm waving and scribbling on the board. It's long been so difficult to communicate what I can see so clearly in 3D in my head with students firmly rooted in 2D. I've done it for years and every semester I try something different and every semester I end up with confused students. It's long been just the nature of the beast. This changes EVERYTHING! I've never said this about anything before. In a word, I'm gobsmacked. Need a beta tester?

Lovely. I've been 3D computer modelling of geologic systems for two decades using various programs. This is bloody brilliant.

This looks really cool, I am super excited as I can see so many possibilities for it! I would love to have a way to enter in the structural measurements taken in the field, and I am sure that this would be coming with the newer release. As a student, I am still getting my head around visualizing the various structures and this would help me immensely. Thankyou for the detailed video too, there's nothing better than an instructional video that actually instructs you!

Pff, as an old school developer I'm just getting into a bit of web development, but this is on another level. Great stuff!

This is awesome! Rachel, you did a excellent job of explaining. Clear, concise, and straight forward. The program is so amazing. I enjoyed watching this. The best part of your presentation was that it wasn't too scientific - I understood everything! The concepts you were portraying as well as the technique for changing those concepts. The consistency of colors, tools, and how they're used is superlative. Thank you for sharing!

Nice tool! An export option is the biggest missing feature. I'd like to be able to quickly mock up a stratigraphy then export it as a set of .obj files, which can then be imported into other software. Does this already exist?

@macking104, we're working on some improvements for touch screen which should improve things. But, its a tricky one actually so some smaller devices might not have the most optimal user experience. keen to hear peoples feedback on this. Julian has a link in the description above to a form if you have more feedback 👍
