If you're using legacy chests, you might as well also turn the Black wide Hat into a White wide hat. Same stats but also gives you lightning damage bonus and a small Stamina reduction bonus

A fully enchanted Antique Plate Set (with Economy) gives as much mana cost reduction (9% difference total) + some additional fire damage on top of it. Yet you might not like how it looks - its very taste specific but fits Sorobor Mage RP theme pretty well.

After a few days of grinding I am using this build but I chose to use gong strike and the sunfall axe and fabulous shield instead of the fire staff with elemental discharge. god is it fun. Thanks for the great build idea. Absolutely melts.

Almost like mine build - fire damage rocks in Outward. I used Sunfall axe / Living Wood Axe +Old Lanterns from backpack (easy recipe) - for Flamethrower & Throw Lantern skills(both fire damage). Infuse Fire & Warm boon you can easy cast from spellbook. Your guides awesome! ps: btw Jade-Lich Robes is good alternative for Red Clansage Robe.

I don't usually leave likes for videos (I'm stingy with likes) unless something stands out that impresses me. Not even considering what the video is about, I had to give a like because how well the guide was put together, simple little things like tracing a path with the mouse make a difference. I like how each step was shown step by step. Preferably night time footage should have been in the day time and dark interior shots should have been with a lantern or increased brightness. I see a lot of other people making videos that are usually missing so much important information about their topics and leave everyone scratching their heads.

I know this is a 3 year old video, but Meat Stew provides the same health regen as Alpha Jerky, uses regular meat, a veggie (Gaberries work, for some reason), and salt. You only get three per recipe, but Gaberries, hyenas, and pearlbirds are plentiful.

Just letting everyone know: the soroborean caravaneer one cierzo sells scaled leather as well so while you’re farming silver you can get that. This means that you can skip one of the stages if you use split screen and the cierzo legacy chest

Nice build, i recommend that you first unlock mana, so you can take full advantage of "spellblade's awakening" and getting the extra 15points of mana.

The effects of mana related passives that you acquire before you unlock mana are automatically added once you unlock mana. So you can get Spellblade's Awakening before unlocking mana and it will automatically apply the extra 15 mana once you unlock mana.

This was an awesome build its definitely my new favorite. I thought it was well worth getting the sigil of wind. To make a light/pryomancer. Conjure with sigil of wind is just too much damage to step away from.

If you want 99%, you can opt out of Holy Mission and just drink Gaberry Wine.... which lets you play with different gear too. White Wide Hat: -20% Mana, +10% Fire White Arcane Robes: -15% Mana, +5% Fire White Priest Boots: -10% Mana Compasswood Staff: -20% Mana, +20% Fire Mage Tent: -15% Mana Gaberry Wine: -20% Mana Immolation: +30% Fire Fire Affinity: +15% Fire Warm Boon (with Shamanic Resonance): +30% Fire Heroic Kingdom: +15% Fire (all damage, but fire for us) Total: -99% Mana, +125% Fire

I dunno if it was out at the time, but you could of used jade lich robe for 5% more fire damage and used redclan sage robe as a starter. Upgrade as you go type of deal 💪🏻

What about enemies who have high fire resistance ? Especially the Caldera region is filled with these.

Because you have elemental discharge you can apply whatever elemental varnish you need to, keep distance, fire off elemental discharges, also if you end up getting the thermal claymore you can also inflict decent physical damage. Also consider swapping mainhand weapon to something with more appropriate damage type/swapping gear etc. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome :p

I know this video is for a specific build but is it bad that i selected +5 mana instead of just +1 cause i wasnt sure how much i need to select i didnt want to little so i have 100 health 100 mana and 75 stamina now

He only selected +1 because he has 99% mana reduction. Before getting all the gear and buffs you’d find yourself not using mana pretty much at all with just *1. However the plus 5 just makes it so if you wear other gear you will still have a good chunk of mana to use is really the only difference.

I have the very same build, the only problem I encountered in playing is when fighting in melee (even shielding using mana ward). To get around this problem (i dont know if you just didn't include it on your build) but you could actually use a summon to help since you have the shaman tree active.

Another awesome build churchy! looking forward to burning things alive before i inevitably make a new char for the new dlc (and the skills we get) in a few days. Question though, is it worth losing the 10% fire for the 5% extra mana cost reduction if you upgrade to the rotwood staff if you dont want to go with the holy faction or is that too much of a hit for the build?

Because the Rotwood deals frost damage instead of fire, it probably isn't worth it. Also I feel like most of the time you can easily get away with 80% or more mana cost reduction, so you can be quite flexible with your choice of weapon but should also focus on taking advantage of the increased fire damage. This build could work quite well with the Sunfall axe and Red Lady Dagger and some Rogue Engineer skills for example. That setup would probably be even better at fighting bosses than the Thermal Claymore.

Really awesome video! One point stood out to me; regarding the Prologue section (and actually getting to a Legacy Chest on the dump character), isn't it significantly quicker to go straight to Rissa in Berg when she leaves, get the Cierzo Town Key for joining up with the Blue Chamber Collective and run back to Cierzo Storage? Am I missing something? You still get the Cierzo Town Key after completing the Vendavel Quest regardless of the faction you join on your main character.

The way he shows is the easiest way of getting the clansage robes into a legacy chest *from a fresh character*, as you don't need to kill anything to get them there. Vendevel quest requires you to at least kill the leader of the clan, which ends up being a lot slower due to prep needed to kill them

Yes because when creating a new character they have a slot for legacy character. Unless you have another build whose legacy character is tied to the one you put the original robes in, any other build will have an empty legacy chest.

How about a build with a quarter staff ? Maeby use the ivory staff for better stats but as long as its a staff. Could be kinda like a roleplaying character, like an old wise man wondering the deserts with a staff but when fighting would be like Jax from League of Legends. Could mix in some magic since the ivory staff has -20 mana cost.

Hey. I have a similar build. I am using Ancient Plate grab & boots for an additional 25% fire damage bonus. I'm new to this game and I would say this is not a beginner friendly build). Especially in confined spaces such as caves, etc. But fun))) BTW Does it make sense to have a bonus to fire damage above 100%?

I have made a build with spellblade, philosopher, warrior monk for frost build. Then thought it would be fun using the frozen chakram with this build. So I am trying to complete the blue chamber faction quest for maximum dmg. Yesterday tried to get the skycrown mace, with petrified gear , and white priest mitre, pizza chakram and sunfall axe. Without fire affinity, I killed first cannibal with 1 chakram pierce, 1 chakram dance, and 2 normal attack with sunfall axe. 1st cannibal down with 2 button press and 2 left mouse click.. xD xD xD.. I am now thinking chakram could be a very viable build. Would you try to make a chakram build?

The Fire Damage on the weapon only applies to the weapon but the 10 Fire Damage bonus increases all fire damage, so losing 10% fire damage for a 5% increase to mana cost reduction when the build already hits the 99% mana cost reduction cap, isn't worth it. Even with the ranged variant, there will likely be times when you end up using the staff in melee and because of the increased fire damage of the build, the fire damage the compasswood staff does will be more than the frost damage of the rotwood staff. I should have elaborated more in my first comment, sorry about that haha

Rune magic.. Most op in the game.. Combine with gun trainer for range or warrior monk for melee.. super op. Can kill absolutely everything in the game. Imo.

I feel like this build is no longer viable in Caldera because there are many enemies with really high fire ressistance. Though you can switch fire infuse and boon for different element but you won't be dealing that much demage.

Wide white hat and wide black hat provide the same 10% increase to fire damage. The wide white hat in addition to the 10% fire damage gives a 10% increase to lightning damage and also has higher durability, so can be a handy upgrade but not a requirement of the build and won't provide any additional fire damage.

Because a lot of times, especially in end game fights some of the effects caused by the other backpacks such as reduced stamina cost from Zhorn's or no dodge interference from scaled satchel are better than the extra storage provided by Mefino's Backpack. Mefino's is amazing for when you want to go exploring and loot everything though haha

Nope i got 95 following this build. You get additional mana from spellblade and sage breaktrought passives also SPoiler: You can drink peacemaker elixir at the end of your faction timeline that gives permanent bonus mana and also Blue chamber faction has option for another mana bonus

The only issue I have with this build, is that it requires too much preperation. getting ambushed by a Tuanosaur can fuck you up.
