They were a metalcore band with a very athmospheric sound and their choruses always been bangers, Limbo and Temperer were their first 2 singles, then they made the butterfly EP and their first album (my 2nd favorite metalcore album ever) The Dark Pool, all of that was metalcore but with their 2nd album and their 2 new singles are all on the queen of the stone age with deftones rock sound with core tuned guitars and bass basically. The Thornhill sound is still there for sure but the writing is different from what it used to be, i still love the band but there are some people that just faded and started to go and listen to other core bands.

I would highly suggest checking out their album The Dark Pool, much closer to that metalcore sound than their recent stuff but I love it all. Top tracks off that album are Coven, Where We Go When We Die, and Lily and The Moon.

They used to be a metalcore album. Their EP (Butterfly), and their first album (The Dark Pool) go hard. I’d recommend listening to both of them.

They used to be much heavier like 4 years ago... Their 2019 Debut album "The dark pool" is metalcore through and through. One of the best metalcore albums of all time tbh

You should listen/react to some of their other stuff. Older stuff is peak metalcore (Darkpool is one of the best albs out there) and their last album is kinda "deftonish" which is great as well.
