When heating up the PVC pipes they may release toxins.
If PVC pipe does become hot enough to catch fire, it releases dioxins into the air, which are harmful to both humans and the environment. ... Even when PVC is just heated, it also may release carcinogenic vapors that can cause cancer.
Please, always use your range hood whole power when reshaping your pipe, wear a gas mask too. Make sure there’s no children or pets around the working area.
Also, a good help is using a baking bag when placing your pipe in the oven.
