This sink is made in walnut and finished with a oil for the color and then sprayed with lacquer. It was made for a client and they have had it since march. Its still looks brand new

Kickass work as always Kyle! I was freaking out as you turned off the base that it was going to fly off and explode! Probably not as close as it looked on camera.

Was that just a course grit flap type sanding disc or pad that you used with the grinder? What was the initial finish or pre-finish that you applied with the cloth?

Nice work Kyle. Echoing some of the other comments. Too trippy watching the chisel point cut air through the blank. Finish looks great. How durable do you think the lacquer will be and do you see it needing "re-applying" in time? I usually see people coating timber sinks in epoxy.

Was your heart heart rate up on those first cuts on the wings?! Mine was and had to hold the tablet away from my face.... That was yet another example of masterclass gouge work. Actually, it was the samereaction when you turned that big ass pedestal for the table. Something to look up to. Thanks for another vide experience. Appreciate it.
