Enjoying your Vlogs of Alaska for far. I want to go to Alaska with Royal Caribbean next. I did my first cruise a few months ago with Carnival, also to Alaska, but we had Ketchikan instead of Sitka. Doesn't seem like there's much to do or see in Sitka, besides the bears. Looks boring compared to Ketchikan. Maybe I'll stay on board. On to your Day 4 vlog...

hey guys, just enjoying your vlog...I was so surprised when I saw that Earl Turner was the entertainer in the theater! I lived in Vegas from 2000 to 2015 and in 2003 I won a competition in the newspaper for tickets to see Earl, plus dinner and a limo ride! Hoping he will still be on the Ovation when we cruise to Hawaii in Oct 2024!

Thanks for sharing about the Sitka $25 shuttle and buses being off on the weekends. I would recommend doing a walking tour with Bob Purvis. He's a retired educator and very knowledgeable. Then you can do stuff on your own after the tour.

Glad you have enjoyed the video and thank you for the support. We did go back later in the summer and for some reason the Hop on hop off bus wasn't running that day but there were other companies. It may have already been full to capacity because multiple ships were in.

We don't generally venture more than an hour's drive on our own. We want to be able to taxi back if there's any problems. Anything further we would typically book with the cruise line. Thanks for watching and happy cruising!!!

Thank you! It's not an actual Starbucks location, but they do serve Starbucks coffee. Tall beverages were included with one punch on your coffee card. Grande and Venti drinks were two punches.

Glad you've been enjoying the videos! We have not seen a bear there but I know they are around. The park is fairly busy. So it's a good idea to stay in groups or near other people.

In your videos the virtual balcony looks like it’s constantly blue. Is that how it is in real life or is that just how your camera is picking up the hues?

It was mostly blue ocean as the camera faces the front of the ship and looks at the water. It was still enjoyable to have.

We thought it was worth it if you get Talls because it's about half the price of buying it on the ship. It is still worth it if you're doing the Grande's and Ventis but the pricing was a lot closer because they double punch it.
