I'm a Caps fan but an underrated skill for Ovi is doing this. Ovi takes some long shifts because he is so good but if there's a low percentage dump in or his line is having a bad shift he goes off early. That's why he can play so much at his age after the wear and tear. He picks his spots

I was at the jets and caps game and it was only my second game I’ve been at I was at a jets vs oilers game 2 years ago and I was more in awe of just watching ovi and even seeing ovi out there then I was when I watched mcdavid and Leon ovi just seems so strong but yeah the caps chipped in and a lot and ovi just kinda sat around centre ice still over the jets atmosphere
