Greg's First Time on the Atlantic Ocean - Catch & Cook LOBSTER

Ovens Rocky Mountain Bushcraft

4 жыл бұрын

Greg visits the Atlantic Ocean for the first time and Fowler takes him lobstering on his boat off the coast of Maine, then they feast on the catch. Zach also takes him up to the yurt property he lived at before leaving for History's Alone.
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

Being an avid outdoorsman and survivalist, I have watched countless videos and survival shows. A lot of them are a bunch of showboating, poorly structured, or are very dull but Mr. Greg Ovens has certainly nailed it! Something about your videos is just so calming and yet exciting and I love your delivery of great content! You have a bright future in this and I cant wait to watch everything you have to gift to us! Fingers crossed you get another shot at alone too!

I know right ! I'm from North shore Massachusetts. And it's it's funny you know we take it for granted cuz we grow up eating it. I've seen videos of people eating it from other parts of the country and it's fun to watch them. Or sometimes how they'll try to cook them or something it's just fun to see the different ways they go about it

I never knew that on the Lobster gauge there was a place where it says too big! I was really happy when I saw that. I have always known that a lobster that has survived that amount of time and to get that large is considered a Real True Breeder. They should always be protected to ensure we all have the opportunity to have lobster feasts in years to come. Thank you guys for sharing.

No one does anything with that yurt? You still own that property? It’s like fallout game to see all that in ruin. Bummerino. Must be hard dude.

Why I didn't come across Greg's and Zach's channels is beyond me but catching up on their videos has been awesome. The 30 day challenge has been beyond words.
