I was going to ask about how to incorporate using Vit C, copper peptides and retinal into my skincare routine but another viewer addressed that. I had read that copper peptides could make vitamin c ineffective. I guess I still have a question…would you use copper peptides or retinal first at night? P.S. you look particularly gorgeous today!!

Hi Deb. I should have stressed the importance of waiting between copper peptides & vitamin C. Also waiting between copper peptides & retinals. Dermatologist recommend either using them on opposite days/nights or waiting for the vitamin C to completely dry down or soak in before peptides. If you use them too soon together they may not be as effective. But from my conversations with my Dermatologist & what I've researched they won't harm your skin.

Copper peptides work great with Tretoin. Tretoin should only be used in at night unless your Dr says otherwise. Copper Peptides should not be used with vitamin c so if you use vitamin C in the morning, you're good with Copper Peptides and Tretoin at night. Works wonders

Hi Ms. Melissa 👋 I use a moisturizing daily liquid exfoliant at night everyday, tir tir moisturizing essence at night and retinol on top . I have sensitive skin with mild rosecea and my skin is able to tolerate it. The liquid exfoliant is a low percentage at a 7%. I know dermatologist advice against it but the caveat is that the liquid exfoliant must be gentle and at a low percentage. I use the liquid exfoliant around my eyes because it's so gentle and is also moisturizing. This combo will give you smoother skin and it does give you a bit of a pore less look. Well this is my secret, I spilled the beans 🫘 Lol ☺️

Great recommendations! Naturium makes a nice multi-peptide serum with encapsulated Copper-peptides and a peptide moisturizer. Stratia makes a serum called Rewind that has DMEA, Niacinimide, HA and Glycerin and a peptide moisturizer with licorice root, vitamin B6, & Rosehip oil called Interface. It is often sold out though!

Hi Melissa, your skin looks gorgeous, so whatever you’re using must be working for you, I also Love your hair pulled back off your face, I won’t even tell you how much I spend on skincare products Lol 😂 but I use what works for my skin after using prescription Tretinoin for years and not seeing any results and no irritation, I switched over to Retinaldyhde and I’ve noticed a Big difference in my skin and texture, I use my vitamin C with it at night from the same brand, my Retinaldyhde is the highest strength at 2% and has been great for my skin, but none of my skincare is purchased over the counter in stores, it’s just what works for my skin. Have a Great Day/Evening, I never know what time of the day it is over there when you post a video and I hardly ever see it for a few hours later because of the time difference. First off..you look so pretty..you are glowing. I’ve rewatched this three times and I’m still confused. I don’t have the budget or the time for multiple serums but would like to try a couple. I am now confused to what I’m currently using ..which was EL Night repair however it’s very pricey and after 2 years I changed to Missha Time Evolution ( it has helped with my pores) and I really like it however I’m not sure if it’s enough and it’s a little tacky for morning use when compared to the EL….Im 62 and with sun damage , if I’m to add another product what should it be? The Beauty Sleep Serum by Dermelect is next level, the Maelove Moonlight Serum is so under rated, everyone use to talk about it but you don't hear much about them anymore and that's a shame, great company! And the Eye Cream by Drmtlgy is new to me but so far I have been really happy with it. I also of course love their Needleless serum! For the HPR eye cream, I'm concerned about it having coconut oil because it seems that it would cause milia around the eyes. Coconut oil on the face is a big pore clogging substance. I'm experimenting with the Dr. Tanya Snap-8 eye serum. Btw, the Mychelle retinaldehyde eye cream is super irritating yet cost effective. I had to get a prescription cream to deal with the redness on my eyes.

I did not think you were supposed to use Copper Peptides at the same time (Morning or night) as Vit. C. I have seen several Derms on KZbin that say that is a no-go.

Well what do you know I have almost all of these serums lol. SOMEBODY must have influenced me 😛😛😛. I didn’t have the Biossance but just ordered the baby size off Amazon. I agree with you about the Nuturium Super C serum. I really love that one. I had been using the Timeless for about two or three years but it wasn’t really doing much. After I switched to the Naturium within about two weeks it started lightning this one pretty dark spot that I had. It is good stuff and I will definitely repurchase. Such good recommendations Melissa! Thank you♥️ One serum that is not on here that I love is the Needleless serum by DRMTLGY. I won’t be without that one. I’m on my third or fourth bottle of it.
