Hi Melissa , I’ve been sitting on the side watching so many KZbinrs with mature skin for a couple of years now I’ve not come across any one else who uses the same products for so long . I’m 76 always thought I looked after my skin with good products but until KZbin I realise I haven’t , I’ve been completely conflicted as to what products to use because no one uses the same thing twice. So thank you for this video I will now search out your skin care I do have very dry skin. A side note you girls all say mature skin in your 50’s I never thought of myself as mature until I was close to 70 so it gives me a smile 🌝 you are still so young and I don’t class myself as old yet 😄 thank you ♥

Ok, I’ll play. I keep my skincare routine fairly simple. First a gentle cleanser (my current favorite is Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser). Morning, Paula’s Choice Ultra Light Antioxidant Concentrate serum (packed with antioxidants) next Accure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream (packed with peptides and some gentle exfoliating acids) followed by the CVS dupe for the CeraVe AM SPF 30 (the CeraVe pills on me) this product is packed with ceramides and a good SPF. I concentrate on quick, affordable and lots of bang for my buck. Evening, I cleanse, moisturize, I’m using the ELF Holy Hydration Fragrance Free, but any gentle moisturizer would do, then Tretinoin 0.05. I’m currently using a few more products than these but if I lost my skincare these are what I would replace immediately. Thanks, this was fun and a good exercise to consider what I really need.

Loved the glob! I switch products up all the time. But vitamin C, peptide serums and moisturizers are a must. Love Pacifica Vitamin C serum. Smells like a cream cycle and it is lovely on the skin. DRMTLGY Peptide Night Cream is the most repurchased item in my skincare regimen and I can use day and night. Plays well under makeup. I also use the Naturium 1% Retinaldehyde every other night and currently using their peptide serum and moisturizer most days, also 2 of their eyecreams. One with Vitamin C during the day and the other with peptides at night. Speaking of Eyecreams. I just received the DRMTLGY HPR eye cream, but haven’t used it yet. Can’t wait based on your comments and great tip about applying the cream in the inner corners of our eyes. I have a big tub of the CosRX snail mucin. I rotate so many other serums, moisturizers. I use it all! More important than makeup!

Melissa, I have been watching you for years, and I can tell the dark circles under your eyes are almost gone!! The Drmtlgy has done an amazing job! As to the Vitamin C, I read somewhere that Asian women don't use Vit C for brightening. They use gensing!!! I have also noticed how the Gensing serum has brightened your chest! That is why I bought it upon your first recommending it months ago. My sun discoloration is lightening up so much too. There are a few products here I need to look into, for sure!!

Loved this video. Ty. The product I would run to buy is The Ordinary Buffet. (Too amatuer for you) The 7 years I've used it in combination with regular old Vaseline Intensive Care, all my wrinkles are 96% gone. Even my 11's. It gives my dry skin shockingly good hydration for days. Even when I try something new, I always need the Buffet for that awesome hydration, firmness, and smoothing it provides. I am 55 now, a Skincare nerd, and starting to amp up my brightening game. My eyes are getting a bit dark, and from owning my own pool quite a few freckles. 😂 Simple got me this far. Hi Melissa, your skin is so lovely with no makeup. Question on that Drmtlgy eye cream, it doesn’t say in their directions to use it on your lids only under eye but you used it all over your eyes, is it safe to do that. Since I have glaucoma I am very careful on what I put on my lids. I’ve only found one that the directions say to use on your lids, it’s by LaRoche Posey eye cream in an air pump, it’s really a nice one.❤❤. Sure miss your makeup tutorial’s, will you be getting back to doing them?

After research the Joseon Ginseng is a sebum controller, so even though it's hydrating for oily folks - coupled with your use of exfoliates, it makes sense you would heavily rely on the thick moisturizer. I know you said you have other essences in rotation. So what about Secret Key, and Numbuzin No.3? Do you still use them? Ever try the No.4 for makeup wearers? Your my go to for Korean skincare atm, and would love more videos on this topic, as well as all the essences you have tried. ❤

Just wanted to let you know that I loved this video, it really showed me some new skin care that I can order from Amazon. I shop alot through Amazon. I was skimming through Amazon today and found a mineral 50 spf liquid makeup that color adjust to your skin tone. I thought I might mention it to you to see if youd tried it yet. Im thinking about purchasing it, it kinda expensive so I was going to ask you about it first. They have fair, medium and a darker shade. I have to share something funny to share with you. I finally picked up the LA Girl color correctors in blue and white. So I used one today for my foundation. My husband then asked “what happened to your face? You look blue” OMG I guess I used too much! So he proceeded to send me a clip of Outlaw Josey Wales when he meets the Indian named Ten Bears. I am confused on what products can be used together. I notice that you use the copper peptides, but also use products that have retinol at the same time. I thought retinol cancelled out peptides? Thank you. I like your hair color btw.

According to an article on the SkinCeuticles website, peptides and retinol work well together. Peptides don't work well together with salicylic acid or glycolic acid.

Melissa. Love your videos. I am about the same age, so this has helped me a ton. I purchased several items on Amazon about 7 months ago, based on your recommendations, and I love them. However, now I need to replenish some products and Amazon no longer carries them. I used the link on this video to try and purchase the Urea Moisture Face Cream, but I fear that I have been "taken". This product has not arrived, my attempts to use the tracking code to find it have failed - USPS says they have not received a shipment with that tracking number, and my attempt to reach the company (Yesstyle) has been ignored. My questions is, have you actually received products from that company? My credit card company initially flagged the transaction which makes me even more suspicious. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Sara. That's terrible. I'm so sorry this is happening. I have ordered from Yesstyle many times. And I have gotten the Urea Cream. I would keep bugging them. I do hope it gets resolved for you soon.

Only the water on my cloth. That's how I've done it for years. But I know a lot of people don't agree with that & rinse with water. Whatever you feel more comfortable with, that's important.
