Ryan....That mid 60's Buick Riveria looked like a solid car worth a complete restoration. You walked past a couple of solid looking mid 60's Pontiac Grand Prix's without making any comments about them. As a kid I always loved the 60's Pontiac Grand Prix's. My cousin bought a new 69 dark red white interior with a 400 cubic inch V8. Magnificent automobile.

What I really like on American cars that you can take the whole front clip off. It's pretty damn cool after some minor accident - easy to replace, or even to apply some conservation. Just take the fenders off, inspect from the other side - do whatever you want. Put some ship paint and bitumen. In Europe everything was welded together in one structure since around the 60's. Lada, Fiat, etc. with exception of the "Wartburg" car. On Wartburg everything is bolted together and comes off nice and easy.

Yards like this are becoming harder to find. Great selection of late 50's to late 60's iron. I am serious here---what would it take to pick up that 60 Chevy dash that's just laying inside that half hull? and the loose steering wheel inside the homemade 60 ragtop near the end. Serious here. For Iowa and the rust factor some of the cars isn't that bad/ Loads of gems love those early 60s Olds and Ponchos. Any early to mid 50's sections in the yard?

Thanks for show these beautys! Is there any chance to get one of the cars from that place, what i sas here in your video??? Because i really, really like to restore and safe more classic cars. Example at timecode 5:43 : This particular Buick Rivera is looking very solid & a lot to nice for parting out or let it rusting away. I wish i could get a chance to get that particular car to restore with my skills, what are now very good in shaping sheet metal, restoring the body.... 2nd Example at timecode 9:47 : Sadly you didn´t saw it & noticed it not, but there is a 1967 Chevy Impala/Caprice 4 Door Hardtop in withe... That´s exactly that car what i´m still restoring, a 67 Caprice 4 Door Hardtop, what is going to be a "Supernatural-Tribute Car", that i´m restoring with my 73 years old dad completely by ourself. I´m still working on it & i´m glad about that this car was going to me, who safe, restore, rebuild... Hope the bodywork is finished this summer and painted by an painter untill the next spring. But what is about this particular 4 Door hardtop at the Timecode 9:47, is that for sale, or a chance to get that car??? I´m from bavaria (germany) & i can say that you really live in the absolute Paradise for my kind of sight! :) I really, really wish i life there, it´s so amazing to get on such "Junk yards", or even such places where you could still find so many many nice restorable vintage US Cars that i love so much.... You sayed that the GM cars between 1955-73 are unbeatable, and i agree. For me the models from 65 - 77 of the "Big 3" are the most onteresting. And i think it could be a little different about my taste, but i really love 4 doors, esp. 4dr hardtop & even the full size models. Most people have eyes for the 2 doors only. And that´s something what i can´t understand, when i see a 4 Door Hardtop with such nice rood lines, the rear doors covert with the "invisible B-pillar", a 67 4 Door Hardtop Impala/Caprice is only one really good example for that i think. and such cars are the most interesting for me :) Have a gerat day, i hope to hear from you, please!? :) Cheers Till
