Fun DIY video Nanny. Wish I could afford to do all these wonderful crafts and all but budget living leaves one limited. Still enjoyed learning all these tips and tricks and how to’s! I cut my husband’s hair too. Been doing it for years! Saves money that is for sure especially in this horrendous economy. Cannot afford to splurge anymore. I just thank God for our health, a roof over our head, for the food we can buy, a car to drive with gas in it and that we are not homeless. For some that means nothing without frills but for me it’s gratitude to God for all the things most take fore granted. So many without food and shelter so it seems trivial for me to feel sad I cannot do stuff or buy stuff, even though it is so much fun when you can!!!! God bless you all! Yes, Elizabeth…inflation is getting so tough for so many and it is so noticeable the huge price increases…yesterday gas was 7.36 in our local Shell station…I had to hunt around to fume $6.00 gas! Crazy! my 99 cent store splurge was a surprise to me…Normallly that haul would have been way less…even there prices have greatly increased. I do,buy household supplies there and canned goods, too .stay strong, Eliabeth…hugs, ❤️

@@crushingtheir80snannyandmoose the gas here in the DC Metro area is around $3.89. Lowest it has been in a bit over a year. However, we never hit $7+. That is mad! Yes our Dollar Tree is now $1.25 so I have to pick and choose wisely there as before I could breeze through. It is rough for even those who can afford the hike in gas, food, and merchandise. Very sad what is happening to this great nation for all now not so great for all. All we can do is pray and that is the best thing we can do is keep God in our hearts and one the scene. The Bible says to pray for our leaders, I try though to be honest sometimes more often I find it hard to do and ask God to forgive me. This administration is ruining the nation and I pray we can sustain another two years of this insanity. Love you Nanny and Moosie and God bless you both!

Good morning Nanny and Moose. I am writing this as you are in San Diego. I can’t wait to see your weekend adventures. Your 99 cent store was a success! I laughed when the man questioned how could you spend $191.00 at the 99 cent store. For a woman who crafts and decorates her home it is not hard! Not to mention the everyday needs around the house. I love to hear Moose’s comments on everything. Yes, losing a credit card is a pain! My husband would not allow anyone except me to cut his hair. I also did my son’s. I am not a hair stylist. That is what they call them now. It used to be beautician, barber, hairdresser etc. Those sheets look very comfortable. My mother always had flannel sheets in the winter. It used to get cooler in SoCal. Last year we didn’t have very much winter weather. I don’t think we will this year either. I like cool sunny days. That way I can bundle up. With the hot weather there is not much you can do. When I went to the doctor on Friday, I wished that I had brought my sweater. They had the air conditioning turned up and large ceiling fans. Hello Nanny, so enjoyed your video and fall decorative and baking ideas. As for idioms, your Mouse better not look a gift horse in the mouth, as well as a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush when is comes to you giving him such a professional haircut. Before the actual haircut began, I found your mouse looked quite swell /handsome as is, with the just washed longer hair look , but i am sure the shorter version feels more kept and comfortable on him and it also looked like your Moose was quite happy relaxed and enjoying getting his hair cut by such loving wonderful caring hands from the apple of his eye. 😊 . As for finding a comfortable brassiere to wear, I tried recently a comfortable bras from an online company called sha per rmint written in one word , They also sell camisoles that hold things together. LOVE THE BLOOPERS!! I also used to cut hubby's hair til he started being grumpy about the hair falling on him. So now my daughter does it. He gets a buzz cut so it's a every 6 wks thing. I love those sheets. I don't use top sheets either. I use the comforters. Add fuzzy throws in winter. Love your pumpkin project. 🎃 we have a Dollar Tree here. Nothing over 1.25 these days! Some great finds too!! I wish I had that Nordic pan. I bought a metal pan for making cornbread muffins. Got it at a antique store. Cute shapes. I'm gonna get it out! The DUI ...DIY thing was hilarious! I just love Fall. I didn't know that about a car battery running down if doors are left open. Nanny ❣️you and Moosie have arrived at a wonderful, authentic rhythm while working on your videos. I have to say I loved the bloopers,too! Bopping yourself with the sunflower cake stand…and letting Moosie reveal the amount you were trying to avoid revealing!…made me laugh big time. It was amusing discovery of your bra and pants being maternity! My mother was a very southern gal and she used some expressions that baffled me as a child. One was I’ll wring your neck” … I was scared to ask the meaning…somehow knew it was a bona fide threat! Another which filled my imagination with fear was “ I’ll snatch you bald” … another threat! Mom used to refer to a neighbor or a business that was diagonally across street from us as "kitty corner"or "catty corner" . 4th of July went to get ice cream cone and parked to eat cone and watch the beautiful fireworks. I turned the car to auxiliary and turned the radio on. About half an hour was going to go home and car "dead as a door nail " (another saying). All I can say is AAA is best thing since "sliced bread" God is good all the time God is good!!!

I thoroughly enjoy every one of your videos and I got a kick out of your big shopping trip at 99 Cents store. We don’t have $.99 cent stores where we live in Texas, but we have dollar trees. I’ve never spent quite that much but I’ve spent quite a bit too !! When you really stock up and buy craft stuff , and then the holidays, lots of a stocking stuffers for our 10 grandkids . Every time I stay away from that store for a while and go back in I think ,why haven’t I’ve been here in so long things are so much cheaper! As always.... a great video Nanny. I love the Succulent plants too. But they are very easy to kill if you give them too much water. Looking forward to seeing your pumpkin with the Succulents. Moose is very Blessed to have you cut his hair. So good you have the stamina to do it. We just survived the hurricane Ian that hit in the south of Florida at Ft Meyers and Sanibel Island. We were fortunate enough to live in Jacksonville FL which is in the north eastern part of Florida and so when it cut across Florida it went out into the Atlantic Ocean so it went by us while in the ocean but it was a tropical storm so the winds and rain wasn't so bad. But when it hit down in south Florida it came out of the Gulf and waa a category 4 hurricane and almost a cat 5 and had winds like around 150 mph or more. It devastated that area down there and so far on tonight's news there has been 45 people found dead. They are expecting to find more people that are deceased. The pictures on tv look like bombs have been dropped there. The pictures and news on TV was just horrible. Everything was flooded so badly. It just breaks my heart for those people who have lost their homes and some their lives. Counting our Blessings and feeling very Thankful that we were not hit by the hurricane but at the same time feeling very sad for the families in the south of Florida. You cut Mooseys hair really well. As I was changing my sheets the other day and was thinking I wish I had someone do this for me. I thought of your grandchildren doing this for you and what would you do when they went to college. Then you mention it. . ..I'm laughing at the mention you did about that glue. Nanny, it's sooo toxic. Be careful!! I'm laughing because I went to a wedding shower last weekend. Surrounded by a group of my ex Co worker nurses, you would think we would know better. We were gluing sea shells and pearls all around letters that says love for the wedding table. Guess what glue we each had. A tube of that glue! So bad breathing in all those fumes. We were actually getting silly and light headed. Uggh!!! We should have had masks on. So, be careful!!! The pumpkin will be so cute!! I too could spend alot at dollar tree. I love that store!! About the bras. The best bras I ever owned were nursing bras. 30 years ago. Sooo comfortable and well fitting. Had to give them up of course. Never found any regular bras that comfortable. Bras are atrocious for comfort and fit anyway I find.

Oh nanny I laughed when you said DUI instead of DIY! I also cut my husband’s hair and furry ears, there is always a long one at the top and he says it’s his antennae lol. Yes, Caron…Those ear fuzzies pop out so fast….just like our little chinny chin chin hairs, too…we’re high maintenance in our golden years, aren’t we? Those succulents on the pumpkin have stayed alive since Autumn,Caron…I keep it in my garden and it gets water every so often…succulents are sooooo hardy..❤️
