Awesome work. I love these kind of soup noodles, with the clear broth and those thin slices of beef. I’ve never seen potatoes in the soup either. I’ve seen slices of white radish in it though. Hope u had a great New Year ❤

I can barely can do an ordinary 160g noodle package, i usually cut it in half and take the rest the next day or i get bloated. Very impressive for that small frame, guess im aging. Fun video though, keep it up! =)

PA Dutch “PotPie” (a soup with 1” square ‘noodles’) has sliced potatoes in it. The combo of rich chicken broth, sliced onions & ‘noodles’, is delightful! I’m so jelly” watching your vid! ☺️

@@Theresia66 Pennsylvania Dutch is not ‘really’ DUTCH! It’s actually GERMAN decent! When the Germans 1st immigrated from Rhineland during the 17th & 18th century to America, & settled in what is now Eastern Pennsylvania, they were referred to as the “Pennsylvania Deutsch”. Phonetically, it sounded very much like: “Pennsylvania Dutch”. And that stuck. Hence, today’s calling my heritage “Pennsylvania Dutch”.

@@Theresia66 I’m 70 yo & I was taught by my Grandma & Aunt how to make both Slippery Chicken PotPie & Slippery Ham PotPie. Both were farmers’ wives living in Central PA. My mom was the oldest of 10 children & the 1st to get married. My Dad’s job required him to move to Western PA, near Pittsburgh. Our little family of 4 got nicknamed “the city slickers” by the remaining 9 siblings’ families! But we really weren’t. My sister & I were raised with ‘good ole country cooking’ & ‘good ole country values’. I tried to instill the same with my children. Some things *stuck*, but most things…not so much! lol.
