I'm WEST HAM & respect millwall for what they did for that poor little girl 👏👏👏 if i wasn't an hammer they would of been my club by choice because of the numerous similarities, both dockers & an East End club originally based in isle of Dogs,were proper working class fans, a bit rougher & tougher than your other London clubs, the fans are exactly the same, bit like 2 twin brothers that although respect eachother just don't get on & will always fight 🇬🇧⚒

@@rodlevicount9834 As a Millwall fan, you are 100% right though I have a story about Bobby in his Pub at Stratford(?). My mate went up to him while there and eulogized over his England Captaincy and winning THe World Cup and was full of praise for Mooro and once he finished his monologue,the great Bobby turned to him and said " xxxk Off, I'm with my mates!"....A Treasured memory of the great Man:)

@@Isleofskye well that aint good and a lot of players treat the fans with contempt specially these overpaid ones that we have nowadays. Bobby was before my time so Trevor Brooking is my all time hero and a gentleman with it. Just a shame he got too involved with the FA though.

I've been a Millwall fan for most of my life, I've never hated West Ham or any other club, it's just a game of football.
@PublicVoodoo Жыл бұрын
There is alot more to the rivalry than just football. Alot of Millwall and West Ham supporters worked in the docks and shipbuilding yards and them workers all went on general strike in 1926 against the government due to pay and working conditions. Millwall supporting workers refused to lend their support and returned to work rather than stick it out which provoked mass outrage and violence. So its also a rivalry based on the economic situation of the time and the impact it had on the workers back then to provide adequately for their families which was stopped by Millwall supporters.

I am west ham . But I think we are both very similar fans in culture. Maybe it's the docker connection. I respect millwall fans for thier loyalty . THATS IT COYI.

it was not emphasized that Millwall's 4th move was to leave East London altogether and move to SOUTH East London. It said "New Cross" but did not say where that was. Also, it was THe DOCKERS dispute early in the 20th Century that really caused the animosity as one set went on strike while the others continued to work. Good Luck and if I had been born on the "wrong" side of The River and not The Elephant and Castle then I would have been a Hammer:)

A lifelong West Ham supporter here. The Wigan relegation match was the penultimate match of the season, which had effectively relegated us. The last match of the season was at home to Sunderland, which we went on to lose 3-0. Personally, I’m pretty ambivalent towards Millwall and have no animosity towards them. The team I dislike the most is definitely Tottenham and always have done. All the best and I hope you achieve promotion at the end of this season.
