The new name for the krohniana is hoya krohniana "super silver". My tip with hoyas is to water them more than you people normally suggest ie water more than succulents but less than an aroid. As for syngoniums: whenever i bring one home after the cleaning and pest prevention I let them acclimate to my house about 3weeks to a month then move it to pon. After that they're carefree. I just fill up the reservoir with water and liquid dirt when it's low. 🥰

That's a dangerous place to be. I'd easily end up spending at least a month's worth of earnings on plants and new planters. This morning, my husband commented on how I said I'd only get 2 plants when we moved into our new home last year. He playfully pointed at the plants on our fridge, the plants against the wall across from a sliding door, the plants right in front of the sliding door, the plants and props on our kitchen counter, not to mention the plants in our gaming room, and succulents in our bedroom. Lol. All I could respond with was a hug and "I don't know how this happened." He doesn't seem to mind. :DDD

Such a great Hoya haul!! There were so many great plants at those nurseries. I would've bought a Hoya latifolia as well, along with a Crassula spirals. I have a Buddha's temple and that spirals would be a great addition.

Went to our local nursery here in Missouri, to get one plant. But OMG!!!! Their plants were marked down - 75% off. So of course, I came home with a car load of them. Then stopped by 2 other nurseries and got more. Now I just have to wait for our temps to drop below 100F, to plant them. Probably around 7pm tonight. (With our humidity, it's around 110F outside)

There’s a lot I would have been torn between. But probably the Hoya Eskimo. I watched this video in parts and I actually went out to my local garden center for something else and found one for $15. The video is the first time I’d seen that variety. It came home with me 🥰 your Alocasia looks like my Red Secret. I love my findlaysonii, but my has darker leaves with a rippled edge. So easy going! Ohh, the macrophylla! I just ordered a green one- not sure of the name- maybe bai bua? But that looks like the global green of Hoyas. And I LOVE the incana! Mine grows like crazy! Have you ever seen a Hoya calycina stargazer? It’s a fuzzy Hoya version of the Incana.

Wow 🤩 so many rare Hoya’s definitely the best garden centre for these amazing finds. I definitely am obsessed with Hoya’s now there are so many types. I like ones with variegations, splashy ones and silvery leaves one. Also the alien types ones and large veiny leaves one too. I love the Macrophylla Pot of gold aswell it is more expensive than the Macrophylla one. I saw for two on a website for €100 which was crazy. I have the Hoya Krohniana Eskimo is a gorgeous one the silvery leaves. My one is a mix of silver and splashy and half moon. The Hoya Latifolia i have two one of these one sizw of my hand and the other one nearly the size of my face. The Hoya Sarawak is also another one with big leaves. I am in search for the Hoya Deykeae and Hoya Suzie Q and Hoya Nova Ghost and Hoya Compacta Mauna Lau at the moment my top wishlist ones. I cannot believe the variegated Hoya Compacta is selling at that cheap. Pity we are far away otherwise would definitely get you to send me some Hoya’s. 😁

I had an amazingly beautiful Rex Begonia. It was growing then a few days ago I saw uhooo! Something is wrong. 5 or 6 days later it is completely dead. I searched around the pot and the only thing I see are clumps of white stuff. Maybe fungus.

Wow! The best greenhouse ever!! I saw at least 15 of my wish list plants. I almost booked a ✈️ just to check them out. I can never find anything close to this in CT. And if I do the price is 3-4x's more. Finding an Alocasia for under $25-$30 is impossible. Do they ship?
