Quite frankly i've got tired & sick of testosterone-fueled demonstrations of "force" years ago. Bravo for the visuals, but i have something very different in mind which would gain sturdiness and reliability from inspiration derived from this, though only required for less than 1 ~ 3 seconds... The main trade-off being the application would require the workload to get "scanned" so to detect insertion/removal, even microphonics in presence of a permanent magnetic bias field (for bidirectional user-interface via tap-commands and audible responses)... For this it would help to exploit synchronized power stages so to stack them up on the massive copper tube, effectively distributing electrical stress in the process. Imagine a parallel with analog TV implying a succession of 20 pulses with a half-cycle of 5 micro-seconds each, silencing 1 at the begining of each 20 pulses train to provided a sync mark, followed by 1 high-energy "kick", then 1 or more "listen" period until the natural resonator frequency is "acquired". That might leave up to 17 pulses of 5 micro-second to transfer Induction Heat energy and if the alloy has a Curie-like (temperature-dependant) response then that could provide wireless/sensorless temperature monitoring too. IMO there would be plenty of challenge in that as well, and the range of application goes far beyond just metal recycling.

P.S.: Those square waves look almost unreal...

This never ending "arms race" for the best tesla coils, induction heaters, etc is also exhausting to me. I deleted my old youtube channel and withdrew from the community, and am now only following a very few select people.

@@gaynzz6841 M'yeah, and many of those very same "select" people are actually responsible for such arms race. Like a company that created a forum with some deceiving generic title although it was extensively censored to control people, which allowed them to keep everyone else into the dark ages since 2014 at the very least.

It can be exhausting- definitely not in an arms race with this project!😁
