ah im playing front mission 2 and found that the character designer for both games is the same person Jun Suemi. The style is definitely similar, but is more realistic here

God I just thought of this game. I was 11 years old and was obsessed with it. All I wanted to do was to unlock the F22 raptor and mid way through the campaign it kicked me out saying I was not able to progress through the story and that’s the last time I played it. I need to go back lol

@@repaleonhalo9754 it's called accesibilty. You are talking about games with compleatly differnt goals in mind. Also this "game" wich is still more arcade that a real simulator. It's really bad since it dosen't explain you not even how to handle he situation nor what weapons do or how they works. It has bad mission design 3 minutes many of them. You know It's realistic see enemy aircraft appear behind you every time you shoot the one behind you. It don't explain you how to get new planes at all. for the time it was also bad in terms of grafic. Aircrafts model are directly taken for the PS2 previus interactions. Long useless talks for a boring setting. Bomb random "military complex" of evil terrorists who don't want peace. I'm going to be honest i would't mind a new interation of this which is placed in between a flight sim and an arcade (more on the sim part tho) with modern grafics better mission design and so on, a better story since this game offered a campaign with dialogue and stuff. The problem it's them market. You have DCS, DCS players will not play this half arcade game. And Ace Combat players could find it tedius since they prefere a much more arcade experience. A game like this could work as an alternative for console players that don't have acces to DCS the problem is who is going to invest in it. The reason why Ace Combat is more popular i'm going to bet it is because of the crazy lore built behind each title that create a very passionate comunity that even taking sides for fictional nations that nukes themselves, And which main strategy seams commit war crimes.

I don't like ace combat at all, I tried ace combat 5 or 6 after over g and was so let down it was just arcade style. I love to taxi, take off, land, refuel, and the arena was an awesome concept.
