I bought the Skin Aqua because of your haul and it’s become my holy grail 😳 I actually love it under makeup as a primer, my foundation goes on so much nicer and stays put the whole day ! I don’t even do anything special to it, the only thing I do is let it absorb for a few minutes and then really press it in to get rid of the white marks it sometimes leaves. So sorry it didn’t work out for you

Aaah, I feel your pain with the spf! Bought a relatively expensive spf from Vichy and it was peeling as hell and also gave me the worst acne, which I never experienced before since I have dry skin. :(

The skin aqua pills so bad on me when I reapply. Used to like it while I was using it during a Japan trip, but having to reapply was a nightmare. It dried my skin out a bit and will always pill. I DON'T EVEN WEAR MAKEUP OVER IT. 😢

I love the skin aqua tone up. I have medium skin tone. But i never had the white cast effect and make my skin looks good. However my sis hate it so much. She has lighter skin than mine, but she said it dried her skin and peeling.

Same!! The skin aqua tone up sunscreen was so crap!! It also left the same kind of film on my skin and I could literally peel it off like yours did in the video :(. The Biore is so much better!

Omg same! I tried light layer underneath, use different moisturisers etc, and that sunscreen just end up pilling! I thought I got a bad batch.

I had skin aqua uv tone up sunscreen , love the texture but it leave white cast on me and I have quite fair skin tone. And it pills so bad and I thought it was just me. Ahh

yessss I have the same problem with skin aqua but mine is like, if I want to re-apply it on my face it peels like crazy !!! and I don't really know if I should re-apply or not 😅 .. but when I do my skincare routine and end it with this sunscreen it's perfectly fine . Also when I put on foundation it's also fine ! oh right ! the other day I used a thick moisturizer and it got peeled again 😅😆

I love the Skin Aqua but I have oily skin I think it is not suitable for normal to dry skin just imo

I agree on senka cleansing oil. I have been using hada labo and i wanted to try this one. After i finished it i switched back to hada labo cleansing oil. Hada labo ftw

I bought the Biore Tone Up essence in Japan. Not sure why cos I went into Bic Camera to buy loads of the Watery essence and decided to pick it up too to give it go! I didn’t mind it I have to say but didn’t find it did anything special. I didn’t find it pilled at the time but now watching this, my makeup did come off in ways that it never did before!

Maybe look up piercing studios japan on google. I’m sure something will pop up. Some tattoo studios do piercings as well.

My skin type is oily-combination and surprisingly skin aqua tone up is just perfectly match with mine. I expected the heavy feelings bcs its contain spf 50+++ and also tone up effect but imo it's feel lighter than nivea sun serum. It doesn't leave a oily feeling right after i applied, instead hold the excess oil maybe around half day of using this tone up. I never found the "right" sunscreen for me before skin aqua tone up, so sorry it doesn't work with you:(

I had skin aqua v tone up ...i love the texture and how it feel on my skin but quite thick for my combo skin and my skin always tend to sweat to much. now i change to other version which the tube color pink and green. it not thick and look good on my dull skin.guess? My skin love it..even when the aircond at my workplace doest work it when suppose to very hot in that place..but my skin not feeling oily at all!!

I tried to use skin aqua so many times but i didn't get any good results too. It doesn't mix well with my make up. It is just eye catching for the packaging design but it's nothing inside.. I would prefer to use biore botanical peony water essence sunscreen..

New subs here! I have the same opinion on senka all clear oil. At that time I really like the perfect whip soo I really excited when they launched another product in my country. But once I use it, they sting my eyes so I go back to the biore one ❤️

I splurged on the skin aqua i got like 3 bottles as it was half price and it just wasnt good for my dry skin, it dries down matte so when i applied foundation on it just accentuated my dry spots and it pilled 😢 way too over hyped i researched for hours about it beforehand to..

I'm surprised by the suncut sunscreen! I use one of their sunscreens and it works like a dream. I wonder if whatever gives the "tone up" effect/ingredient is what makes it pill 🤔 P.s your lashes look amazing! Are you using falsies or is it your mascara?

I absolutely loved how the suncut uv whitening essence made my skin feel and look but it kept peeling off and I could not wear any make up with it. Maybe it’s a problem with their whole brand just peeling off the skin. Will use it on the body or hands instead... bummer because it’s affordable and fragrance free 😥

Mmhhh...so far I am enjoying many Japanese products...So far, I have tried the Hada Labo brand...SANA...Muji...and many Japanese brand sunscreens (actually only Japanese 😄) and so far so good 👍!!!.. no issues...the packaging, I must say,is not always exciting 😀, but the products feel nice,..most of them fragrance free, good ingredients AND very affordable..

I am currently using the Sunplay (the green one) and was also very excited until.... 😭 it dries so quickly and it pills so bad when you layer it. At the middle of the day, it looks more terrible esp on top of bb cream. gave it second shot, changed the way i applied it and somehow works.

When I went to Japan in 2019, that skin aqua uv tone up sunscreen was everywhere. The white cast was a little too much for my tan skin tone (even with half a pea sized amount) so I just used it on my body 😂

Wish i should had watched your review before buying aqua tone up sunscreen.🥺🤧 I have oily skin and thought this sunscreen would work for me. It is great sunscreen compared to other sunscreen i used but....☹️ It makes my face more oily within a few hours after applying and i had to stop using it because i got pimples.😥 And about whitening effect, guess it didnt work for me cause i see no difference before and after applying it on my face.

For me, "Biore UV Watery Essence" is the most overhype uv product but not as good as it hypes... its very alcoholic, very drying and make face look very dull and darkening.... Skin Aqua is far better

You know what video I'd LOVE you to do next year (being realistic about international travel returning to normal in 2021): Japanese foundations. I'd love you to buy a bunch of more affordable ones and test them out by wearing them for a full day. The comment section for such a video would be EXCELLENT. Everyone could share their current favourites and offer their suggestions for which J-Beauty dupes they've discovered for certain shades. To find a medium-full coverage foundation that's better than Estee Lauder Doublewear remains my eternal mission. :)

I feel the same way on the senka cleansing oil. It feels weird when used on wet face, and it DOES sting my eyes as well! Anyway, I bought the two sunscreens in japan on feb 2020 because of your recommendation! 😂😂 have not tried suncut yet though as I'm just at home in the rest of 2020 😅

Honestly, as someone with really oily skin the [Skin Aqua] Tone Up UV Essence is the shizzle! It really works on me and doesn't make me look more greasy, like the bioesence one that everyone is hyping for oily skin.
