That's an interesting way to do that. Mine was set up with two switches and one was electric to a valve that locked out the leveling valve and the other one was a air switch for air windows and that gave the adjustment of how high you want it. That setup you have definitely works but I'd probably flip the air cylinder 180° so dirt and water doesn't lay on the seal of the piston. Good stuff.

Yea my car hauler has that same switch and same function too. It raises my about 4-5 inches in the rear and raises my trailer 4-5 inches too. But that will definitely save your tanks for sure. And with some of the dealerships I go into my fifth wheel stinger stills bottom out……. Lol

when i saw your video down on Rainier ave, and how close your belly was to that driveway, i was going to ask you if you had it, Ive done that to most of my trucks, can be a game changer : ) I do mine with a pressure regulator inline and bypass the ride control valve all together, ive never seen it done with the air cylinder, nice work.

Nice! Just make sure don’t drive like that because it’s bad for the u joints,my Peterbilt came high from the factory and it kinda nod like a grinding sound and it ruined the rear end and we found out it had to be lowered

Yes, but you only use over inflate to push a trailer up when the landing gear gets stuck. It should only be used for slow slow movements.

@@Rockwell108 On trucks like that one it's mainly used to keep the fuel tanks from hitting the ground when the truck gets on uneven ground. It has very little to do with the landing gear on the trailer.

@@trucking4racecars thank ya sir much appreciated. Wouldn't care to share the brand of it would ya. I've looked on Amazon found a bunch of different kinds. But knowing the stroke is adjustable helps me a ton. One more question would feel confident enough in installing that in the steer axles also? I'm wanting to do my rear and steer axles. I just don't know if I want to take a chance on the steer axle with that or if I should just buy the over inflate valve setup.
