That moisture and protein balance is no joke, and those trims are definitely a necessity 😉

Hello, I enjoy watching you share your hair journey. Can you do a video while you relax your hair. Showing your process.
@DolceDawn3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Teri! So glad you’re enjoying! I have a video listed in the description box above called Relaxer Day Prep and Routine that shows my relaxer process in full that you may find helpful.

I'm so late to the party. Just watching, but perfect timing as always. I just relaxed my hair myself (half n half method) this morning. It looks and feels the best it has since returning to relaxed! My pixie is actually long enough for a regular sized flat iron...so excited!!! Making my appointment to get my ends trimmed next week! Will not skip the trim!!!! Lol!

Yes, Lillian! You are right on time with this update! So glad relaxer day went well and the progress with your pixie - 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾! Up next: TRIM. That’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for sharing. #Letsgo

Hi 👋🏽 , do you have any advice or plan to make a video for underprocessed hair?
@DolceDawn3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Lonna! I’ve touched on it previously, but do plan on speaking on it again. In the meantime, my advice would be to wait until your next touch up, relax your new growth as usual and then add relaxer to the under processed parts about 5 - 10 mins before you have to wash everything out. This allows for your under processed parts to process for less time while allowing your roots to process at the full time. Hope this helps!

My hair is smooth and feels hydrated but its still breaking/shedding. I’m at a loss and ready to cut it all off. (Relaxed hair)
@DolceDawn3 жыл бұрын
Hey, SignedNichole! Are you speaking of “normal” breakage due to manipulation (ex. combing, brushing, etc.) and normal shedding (about 100 hairs/day) OR are you speaking of excessive breakage and shedding? Do you use heat on your hair, how long do you stretch for and when was your last trim?
@MsLareunion974 Жыл бұрын
Hi Dolce, i think my hair is overprocessed, do you think that it is still possible to use eat once a week with overprocessed hair? Also how can i hydrate my overprocessed hair during the week. thank you for your precious advices.
@DolceDawn Жыл бұрын
Hey, MsLareunion974! Yes, you can use heat. Just be sure to always use a heat protectant. But may I ask what makes you think your hair is over processed?

Hi Dolce, what do you mean when you say you dust your ends from time to time
@DolceDawn3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Deborah! “Dusting” your ends is basically doing a small trim on them, taking off the bare minimum. Think of it like this: dusting = less than an inch; trim = an inch +. Not exact measurements, of course, but just to give you an idea.
@deborahferguson34613 жыл бұрын

I had this situation at one point. My hair became sooo thin i could see through sooo easy. Some persons think its fine and healthy. But you definitely need to know your hair better. Hair is tedious but take your time guys and learn little by little.
