Also sad when you think she had this massive talent and never used it for musical theatre! John went on CBB that year to pay for his mums care which is also quite sad to think about

Steph F is in the bottom because of racism. Period. She has been phenomenal since day 1.

Totally agree. People don’t imagine a black Dorothy so they vote against her.

If it was bigotry why would she not be in the bottom 2 in shows 2,3,4 or either of show 6's votes? The reason for it in week 5 was due to all the other girls bar Sophie and Stephanie (This is based on the judges opinions, personally I think Steph's performance was meh this week and Sophie was better) putting on probably their best or most dominant performances (see the judges comments/reactions) and sucking up potential voters for her. For Sophie, Wales and any of her long term voters were galvanized behind her due to being in the bottom 2 the previous week, as well as that her performance being of the emotional style which appeals to audiences more. She was also the first up which isn't ideal.She didn't even get the lowest number of votes, Stephanie did and also this isn't a anomaly. In Week 6 of I'd do Anything, Rachel was in bottom 2 and had the lowest number of votes despite not being there before and getting positive comments from the judges.

Hollyoaks for me but I actually first saw her in this and didn't know she was the same person when I was obsessed again in hollyoaks :). I truly believe neither of the Stephs should have been at the bottom for this episode. I am also completely baffled at why Steph (fearon) was so often at the bottom, I think people were not comfortable with a such a change at the time, I remember the comments as a child, but she honestly would have made a fantastic Dorothy, the public often cannot see true talent and only see what they view as perfect or appropriate, their own fantasy and struggle to adjust their view. Shame. But Stephanie is still out here and make to music! She always puts her chin up and powers through!
