The words that Lauren says could be seen as arrogant, but the tone she says them with makes it all better xD I think she's really sweet and just genuinly excited to be doing this :D They're both amazing and they're gonna go far

@bastiantotalhappy I agree. I myself fall into the reserved offstage, energetic on category and I feel like it shows more as an actor to be able to turn it on and off rather than being type cast into an energetic role b/c you are energetic all the time.

Amazing performance aside, Danielle can still sing whilst lying on her back! THAT is a brilliant feat in itself :O

I love Lauren! She's brilliant and her bubbly personality is brilliant. Love it! But did Charlotte really have to call her arrogant on live television- in front of the nation? Really? I think she was excited- I would be- out of all the girls- I would be like Lauren the most and for Charlotte to make everyone in the public think that Lauren was arrogant was completely wrong! The least she could have done was take her aside at the end and said 'look, you seemed slightly arrogant on the VT' if she had SUCH a problem with it.

+Jasmine Thomas I agree with you Jasmine. It was wrong for Charlotte Church to say that on live television. I think it is absolutely absurd that Lauren was in the sing-off after this performance--and I think that is directly attributable to Charlotte's comment here. When all was said and done though I still think Danielle would have deservedly won even without Charlotte's unintentional sabotage towards Lauren. Lauren still made the top 3, and I doubt her perceived "arrogant" comments from Week 2 had any real bearing on the vote at that point. Danielle is a better actor and dancer than Lauren and a fine singer herself--though clearly not as strong and as polished as Lauren is. My one legitimate criticism of Lauren would be that she is not a particularly good dancer. That said, I think she is the best vocalist, at least in terms of consistently good tonal quality and sense of pitch, among the contestants with only Steph being close. She certainly didn't deserve what unfortunately happened here.

I don’t think she was arrogant she was joking around and just sounded very excited and thrilled by the comments after her first week. But I don’t know why she said she’s never won anything because she apparently won singing competitions when she was younger and she WON a scholarship to drama school which is a pretty big deal!

@lukedean999 There is nothing wrong with being able to speak properly plus Lauren is a great actress and so could act the part required anyway. She is the strongest girl in there, best voice, best actress from what i have seen, winning combo in my book.

i did feel sorry for lauren cause even though i didn't really like until the semi-finals (found her acting a bit fake). u cud tell in her tone of voice, that she was only joking around. shame cause immediatley when charlotte said that. i new it had ruined her chances.

@EDAM2 it seems like joking but she says the same kind of things everytime we see her so it does come across extrememly arogant and i gaurantee you that she believes a lot of what shes saying

Danielle should be favourite, really good singer, good mover, starting to learn expressing herself lyrically, and has the girl-next-door look Dorothy needs, none of the others have that. They're allowing themselves to be too "stagey" and "t!ts n teeth" theatrical. Some are a bit up themselves as well, and posh-girl prissy . . . . eh Lauren? Dorothy's a Kansas farm girl, I don't recall her acting like an English public-school head girl.

Is it strange for me to say that I don't even think Lauren is that good a singer? At least she's not as good as everyone makes her out to be.
