Just got all of the spring maintenance done on my Tiara 44, looking forward to this episode.

Love how you methodically trouble shoot! so many boaters jump to conclusions without working their way to the source of the problem. Great stuff!

On my windlass, the clutch comes loose every time I drop anchor. They say not to over tighten. Any other solutions?
@JustinLeeMarine2 жыл бұрын
You can crank the clutch down as hard as you want with the tool.

If it keeps slipping then replace the clutch and top plate. It happens sometimes if the clutch gets worn.

Nice video. it takes a lot of experience to know the windlass breaker switch is hidden on the side of an electrical panel in the engine space. I could see someone going nuts trying to chase that down. I like Tiara but the designer of the Tiara 38 LS messed up. The only berth is set athwart-ships, so the sleeper on the bow side has to climb across the partner on the aft side if a trip to the loo is required during the night. Same on the 43 LS. Dumb.

Thank you. I see your point. They could have done it differently for sure. 😊

Sounds like Tiara took care of that washer and the damage under warranty?

Yes they did. The boat was almost brand new.

Why do they leave the stickers on the porthole windows?

Breaker on the side of the box, learn something new every time. Not sure about having a washer bigger than the door, it’s going to go out at some point why make it so hard for the owner?

I agree. It's an option for that boat and it's the only 44 that I have seen with it. It's convenient but not when it breaks😊
