Never before shared footage of Tom Brier playing one of his classic compositions at the 2013 West Coast Ragtime Festival. Enjoy this lost footage from almost a decade ago!

This is phenomenal. I don't know much about the contemporary talents of the ragtime world, but this talent ought to have had more of the world's attention.

Tom completely knocks the bassline out of the park!!! Grand master of that bass style! Excellent playing and thanks for sharing!

I don’t know if there are other living pianists that come even close to this level of mastery and fluency of the ragtime style

Phew! The command he has at that velocity is just scary. One of my favourites from Tom too :) Thanks for posting Kylan.

One of the many things I love about him is that when he plays I smile. This is the first original composition by him I’ve heard and.. yeah it’s as awesome as I expected

I've heard this song played by tom so many times. But I can never not love seeing him playing it again in different locations!

Ooh Marvellous! So sad Tom probably won’t reach that peak again. I just hope he’ll get back the ability to play with two hands…

I can't imagine what it's like tp have all this ability in one's head then lose the ability to play it.

@@ragtimerev Heard what happened recently, hope you're holding up dude! Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your videos and compositions, and bought a few of them on Gumroad. Planning to learn one of them soon. Is Subscribestar the best way to support you now?

Audio is fantastic apart from that damn clipping, I wonder that's possible to fix somehow.

Yes there's ways nowadays

@@WeegeeFan1Studios Yeah Adobe Audition does it really well, I'll probably run the audio through that.

@@danielperales3958 He's talking about audio clipping/overmodulation. Nothing to do with clapping XD
