Okay Guy's you can take all those 100K boats and shove where the sun want shine! Let's go old school a 18 footer with a 150, 1 graph at the console, 1 at the bow, poles, spotlock TM and do an over/under on something us normal folks would buy.

Heck yeah! Where I’m at we run mostly tin rigs, glass don’t hold up so good in the backwaters and bayous. That and most these boats on here start at $65k with just a hull and motor. Everything’s just outta control price wise, to me anyhow lol.

It’s nuts. And then you see kids running in 100k rigs and I just shake my head. Average working family man can’t afford a new boat loaded out with all the goodies. It’s not just electronics companies, it’s the boat builders also. They all need to get their heads out of the clouds and realize who their customers are and how we are just wishing for longer warranties on these boats that cost more than houses today.

Just a tin rig with 115-150hp 18 footer but if you even look at those it’s $50k for something decent and that’s for something with a couple screens, trolling motor, just the basics. I got no problem with a man making a buck, I just have a hard time with how much they want for it. Not sure why a glass boat and motor start at $65-70k with nothing. People keep buying them though, maybe it’s me that’s outta touch with the whole thing lol. Maybe I’m wrong.

@@The.Consultant. Sadly, pro anglers also help facilitate the high prices. When you have jacob wheeler advertising a 500.00 rod.....many guys spend daddies money on everything wheeler related. Goes with most all of the pros. Also doesnt help, that guys walk into a dealership and don't even try to haggle the price. They walk in with a pen in hand ready to sign whatever the sticker says. I think most local anglers and local tournament guys buy all these add ons without really comparing " need to want " ratios? All of this just facilitates the high price of fishing.

Compared to the IKON you just did, it's a damn bargain. That being said, no bass boat is worth $100,000. I remember when a friend of mine bought a new Norris Craft back in the mid 80s, he paid $18,000 for it and we all thought he lost his damn mind. Guess what, he still has it and still fishes out of it. Pretty good investment

I have a 2004 Triton trx-20 that is mint! The secret is to wipe it down after each use and wax it every weekend. If you take care of it, it'll take care of you! The dealers can keep these new $100,000 boats. My 2004 triton boat will get me to my spot just as fast and it's be paid for since 2004! Keep fishing!

Yep I agree. I got a 1998 Triton Tr-20 in mint condition. Repowered both ends and updated electronics and it's as good(if not better) than the new boats. Oh yeah I forgot, it's paid for and it catches just as many fish as the new boats do. 😂😂 suck it, new manufacturers

Patriot package pricing would lower this as mentioned below. We just ordered one very well equipped for 82k. MSRP. We got 36 v ghost, power poles, 2 12 graphs with active target, bobs hydro plate etc.

Thankfully the patrtiot package is significantly reduced. Plus, for me here in Az, we dont really have the " need" for power poles which eliminates that expense. Trading in my vexus for the new triton XP20, but many of the additions as shown in this video will not be a necessity for me. Just glad I'll be able to keep the cost way down for our purchase.

@@R-angler slow, performance is lacking. Handling is abysmal. My original comment was made over a year ago. I ended up not going with triton. The new engineering hull and platform Z21xl is what i got. And it was a smart move. Boat has been a dream.

If you do the “patriot” version and go with lowrance they price so much different, drops to $91k. Everything you put on it except dual lowrance pro w active target 2. I can price one out like I want for $84k which seems like a decent price to me. 🤷‍♂️

I have the last year of boat(2018) earl made and I love it. I don’t know if I’d ever buy a WRM Triton just don’t believe it’s the same boat. Love the new look and layout of 20XP just don’t think it’s worth that money .

@@andyhauser9327 they seemed like ok guys but the one cat was arguing with us about the price deal, didn’t wanna hear nothing about a base price of $106k. They look like sweet rides though. Hopefully they come out with a boat us working folk can buy, a tin would be really welcomed. We use tins overwhelmingly in south Louisiana with the thousands of square miles of bayou’s, shallow water and all the stumps/rocks/logs etc. they just hold up way better. I live up the street a few miles from Poche, his rig is pretty much what we use (except the mercs, lots of SHO here) love the channel, I’m rambling, be good(ish).

Look. The price of the boat is pretty good in todays market. The crazy upgrades makes it over priced. But the standard deal is a good plate form to start with. Buy and build yourself on upgrades saves mountains of money

Shit is ridiculous. There's only a handful of bass boats out there where I can MAYBE say 100k is worth it....this insanity is why the used market is so hot and prices are still going up. There's no way most people could afford one of these. Hell, even in the used market most people are looking at 5+ year old boats before they even get close to what they can afford without going broke. Me, personally for me, I'm looking at boats that are 15 or more...it's crazy. I'll keep an eye out but in the mean time I'll keep running around my 17 footer with a 75 2 stroke tiller like I own the joint. Great video guys.

I got a 1998 Triton 180 premier, it has a Johnson ficht 150, bought the boat in 2004. It’s all original. But it’s a Bentz boat, would not buy a Jonny Triton. It’s been a very good boat for me and my little ones taking them tubing wakeboarding and just fun on the water, kids are all grown up now time to upgrade to a full blown bass boat in a couple years, No white river marine boat will be in my garage.😂

In today's market it doesn't make sense to buy new. get an older boat run it and if you have motor problems put a new 4 stroke on and you still will be half the price of a new boat. That is exactly what I'm doing with an 04 stratos 201 and I'll be sitting in it loaded for under 45k

I'm running an 05 Triton 186 with a 150 XR6, 80 Ultrex, Garmin 126 w/optix on bow, dual Garmin 93sv on console, and Raptors currently. This boat made my radar after hearing it's 75+ solo loaded. With a budget of 90k, would you go with a Blazer 625 Pro Elite, Phoenix 920 Elite/Pro XP, or Triton 20XP loaded similarly to my current boat?

That boat is definitely not worth the money. If you just have to have one just wait until next year when the 2023's are on fire sale because they can't get rid of them. There are a dozen other boats that are better all around for less money. I own a Triton, but wouldn't buy another new one. That boat should be $85k as rigged.
