The flexible "foot cane" is based on real life canes with flexible foots. It gives the user better support on uneven terrain and allows the cane to stand up on it's own due to the wider, more stable base.

Filoni actually purposely made Sinube's lightsaber noticeably bluer in his Tales of the Jedi appearance solely to clear up the debate of whether it's white or not. Probably because he wanted white to be more unique for Ahsoka.

Master Sinube’s species always struck me as a reference to the Mystics from The Dark Crystal. It would make sense because it’s a puppet movie made by Jim Henson and Frank Oz (the original Yoda). Kinda like how you can spot ET’s species in Phantom Menace because Lucas and Spielberg were friends.

If there's one extinct Star Wars species I'd love to see be reintroduced into the new canon, it's have to be the Tlönians. In Legends, this Arachnoid species known for their poison sacs and for preying on Starships that ventured into their territories had been wiped out by the 6100s BBY by Mandalorian Crusaders. My ideal new look for the Tlönians is as an Arachne. As an example, take Rachnera from Monster Musume.

One thing ive noticed in later seasons is once they go from phase 1 to phase 2 clone armor, they didnt make a phase 2 armadillo helmet gunner model, and so as far as i can tell none of the AT-TEs have gunners starting in like season 4, something to keep an eye out for

In an anthology series like TCW, 'filler' episodes are either nonexistent or are the entire series as most of the episodes and arc aren't related to each other or impact the rest of the series. The Bad Batch arc is technically filler as it only matters for their series and not the show itself. Zygerria, like this episode, is mostly a one-shot story that focuses on Anakin's hatred for slavery. Umbara, despite its praise, doesn't impact the rest of the series as Krell is only mentioned once outside of it during the temple bombing arc. Really, the only arcs that aren't 'filler' technically are the arcs that relate to the Seige of Mandalore. The arcs with Death Watch, Almec's arrest, Ventress' revenge/ Maul's return, Fives inhibitor chip conspiracy, and Ahsoka leaving the jedi and eventually joining Bo Katan.

I would argue it is a little more expensive than that. The whole storyline with Maul involves Savage. That involves all Night sister episodes (except the one were Mace and Jar Jar remake Temple of Doom). Savage also killed the Toydarian king, so Supply lines and Ambush would have to be included for the sake of clarity, alongside the battle of Ryloth. The arc were Ahsoka leaves the Jedi features Barris, who was introduced during the second battle of Geonosis. Senate spy is part of that arc, meaning the subsequent Rush Clovis arc would be needed to explain his characters fate. For the arc about Fives discovering the chips, Rookies, Arc troopers and the citadel arc are relevant, explaining why he is in the 501st, an Arc trooper and without Echo. Since this comment isn't long enough already, I will now argue that the arc were Dooku is captured and the arc were Ahsoka oversees a bunch of younglings getting their first Lightsabers are needed because they 1: introduce Hondo 2: explain why his base is in ruins by the time Maul shows up. Also I just remembered that one of the Ventress centric episodes features Boba Fett, meaning the arc were he tries to murder Mace can't be considered pure filler.

@commandere2475 of course, there are stories that call back or connect to others. Like the episode that involved Lux Bonteri trying to join Death Watch and Ahsoka was caught in the middle. Despite being a one-shot, it shows Death Watch no longer associated with Dooku, so Obi-Wan couldn't get the Republic's help when he went to Mandalore to help Satine against Maul. As well as established Bo Katan's first meeting Ahsoka and eventually recruiting her against Maul. But there are stories in there that are ultimately unrelated to others or mainly just serve as character development. Like the Zillo Beast ultimately did not play any other role except in the Bad Batch series, which was ultimately a pointless used for the creature as it did nothing but 2 rampages and had nothing to do with the Republic's past interest in it. Or the Droid Squad arc only matters because of clone commando, Greger. Who only appeared in one out of four episodes of that arc, and only came back for very minor roles in Bad Batch and Rebels.

This is not a filler episode. TCW being an anthology means nothing is filler, as it’s supposed to be a collection of events happening across the galaxy. If it followed the same people throughout and told a linear story, then there would be filler like in rebels and bad batch with their fetch quests. However this is not that. This episode also did wonders for people who started out hating Ahsoka
