Excellent airport design. Reminds somewhat of San Francisco International with the runway extending into the water. I use to work at a restaurant in Burlingame near the airport and our back wall was nothing but windows where people could eat lunch and watch the planes coming in and out of SFO. Since there's already an Overcharged bus asset, how long until there's an "Overcharged Airlines" asset?

At around 17 minutes you say you can't have the car parks symmetrical because the tiles aren't an even number. I wish I was still in the discord to show you how to do this, but there is a way it's possible to make the tiles an even number without mods. I don't know if this will make sense written down, but basically: 1. Place the terminal 2. Expand the road a bit further along - say 5 tiles 3. Delete the terminal 3. Draw a road down as far as you want at a 90 degree angle from the bit of road that's left next to where the deleted terminal was 4. Turn off all road snapping except angle 5. From the road that's now at a 90 degree angle from the original terminal road, draw a road parallel in front of where the terminal was, but end it at a 'half tile' - you'll have to eyeball this. You can do this because neither the grid, road length, or other road snapping is on. 6. Put the terminal back, snapping it to the bit of road that was left from when you originally deleted it. You should now have an even number of tiles in front of the terminal because the grid will remain true to the road that was placed first - in this case the parallel 'half-grid' road. The grid should stay like this even if you reattach those roads to the road the terminal is on. I am 99% sure this should work, although I haven't bought the new DLC yet - need to wait until the weekend so I go to work this week. I've used this trick to make park gates in front of libraries symmetrical and just tested it with a passenger port that has it's own built in road too. Good luck!

Wasn’t expecting a modular airport build on day one 👌great build as per usual. Out of curiosity can you place the concourse on its own in the airport area or does it need to be connected to a terminal? Be nice to maybe use it as a airport tower building on its on in the middle next to the runway like a little ring with a couple tower pointing different ways 🤔. Have a good one egg!

You can pop a few meters of concourse anywahere you want to snap the ATC tower where you want. No need to link it to the rest of the terminal.

As long as your taxi ways are configured so all stands can reach both runways, I think so yes!

I hope they will improve the Animations of the Planes and also fix that Planes just take-off/land and drive through each other, and if a Runway is occupied, it should be occupied and not have Planes land one after another 20m behind each other

Lol they do make me laugh sometimes. The 3x2 ones aren't to bed to get in, the worst is the 2x4 as there are tons of assets in that pool. 2x2 isn't too bad but you need the even number count :)

Hate to break it to you, but those knobbly bits you complained about in the new airport terrain tool, also make an appearance in the regular terrain tool, the only difference being where the knobbly bits are. Either way, nothing a little smoothing can't fix.

Terrain height can make a difference too. I've just found it more severe with the airport tool :)

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG It is quite dramatic, but I find it more realistic, than the clean lines people tend towards whilst doing keys in city skylines. Having rock formations, trees, and jagged edged bits coast line sticking out of barriers are common in the Northeast coast of America.

The new patch has broken a lot of mods. The best thing to do is to go back and resubsribe to all your mods. You will have to wait for the mod maker to update the mod

It happens with each DLC, as the game code updates with the new patch a lot of mods will break, just need to wait for the mod maker to update that mod, not usually too long :)
