I too bought Trident Z RGB 4000 CL18 and got Hynix DJR IC's. I doesn't really get along with my Ryzen 5600x and Strix B550 F Gaming mbo. The highest i could get is 3800 CL16 @ 1,38v, anything above that is not stable.

Did you see any issues with WHEA event 17 warnings on link state of PCI Express Root Port over 3500Mpbs on these Aorus boards? I have a Z590 Aorus Ultra board with a 10900k and system is completely stable, but any ram Kit above about 3500Mpbs I get a hit of WHEA event 17 warnings littered in event every 5-10 min under load pointing back to the intel 1901 PCIe controller. If I switch the PCIe ports to Gen 2 experience zero warnings at any RAM speed or config.

Does the platform matter a lot in those "lower" frequencies? Like, will Ryzen timings be way different?

My DJR timings are very close to BZ's on Ryzen. Keep in mind that Gear mode is used here, Gear down mode on Ryzen. You will not be stable without it.

Could you help me, with the stability, in my system with an Intel core i7 11700K, Aorus Z590 Master and the 4 Aorus 4400 Mhz modules, with your configuration sometimes it starts and other times it doesn't and when it manages to start the stability is very weak, I reached They have it at a certain point of stability, but when I opened games or applications like GIMP, in the Windows event viewer, it reported the message RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64, But the applications and games continue running without a problem, they don't close or crash or anything, it's normal ? should I ignore it? or will it be a ram memory problem? I preferred to undo the Overclock, what values I could touch to improve stability, I don't care if some performance is lost, which in itself when using stock ones is already disastrous.

Hey Buildzoid, I have a 5800x and similar memory, its hynix djr. Im running it at similar speeds and timings (3800 16-21-20-38-61. tWR 12, tCWL 15, tRRD 5, tRFC 500, tFAW 20 or 24, tCCD 5 or 6. All at 1.4v) and my gflops are right around 340. Is the difference in RAM timings really that significant? or are the memory speed issues with Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 to blame? (for instance, their write speeds is 50% the read speeds, etc). i was scouring some forums to see people's linpack results, but there were very few ryzen 5000 results. Some people were hitting 700 gflops with a 5950x. One person posted their 5800x score and it was similar to mine @ 340 gflops, but he didnt post his ram config.

Hi, i hope this helps you, but i remember reading somewhere that with cpus from 5800x and below (ryzen 5000 series), memory write speeds are smaller when compared to 5900x and 5950x. Its an architecture thing. Keep in mind this is anecdotal at best.

I bought a kit Kingston Fury Beast 2x8GB 3600CL17-21-21 (KF436C17BBAK2/16) for my 11700KF on a MSI Z590 Gaming Plus motherboard, and initially the RAM kit worked flawless at 3600MT/s 16-20-20-38 by switching on MSI Memory Try It!, but now with another 2 memory sticks of the same make, sometimes the computer crashes when playing certain games. So memory is unstable now. Dimm voltage is still at 1.35V. What do you guys recommend so that I can run all 4 sticks at at least 3600 in gear1 and tight timings?

Any reason you pump voltage into VCCIO 2 instead of VCCIO?
@Magnarks
@Magnarks 11 ай бұрын
In the eleventh generation, Intel divided that voltage, VCCIO 2 (or VCCIO Mem aux on other boards) is to help overclock the memories, the other I think is for other devices and that one is managed between 1.05 and 1.1 V

I love these types of Buildzoid videos. Does running your daily RAM at 1.45V causes RAM or memory controller degradation? I've seen a Reddit post claiming this at 1.45V with Hynix kits.
@sabishiihito
@sabishiihito 3 жыл бұрын
RAM voltage isn't going to affect the memory controller, and there are DJR kits with XMP profiles up to 1.6v so I highly doubt 1.45v daily would be an issue.
@ApexLodestar
@ApexLodestar 3 жыл бұрын
@@sabishiihito that's what I was thinking too. RAM can handle very high voltage. But you also have to keep the memory controller in mind. I think AMD recommends 1.5V as the limit on Zen 2.
