This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZbin channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,7444 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Thats like that analogy that let’s say someone is training as a yoga instructor for example, they’ve been doing it for years because they have a passion for it, loves the way they feel and countless benefits etc Then someone comes along and tells them they will be paid for it, now at 1st it’s going to feel even better that wow I get paid for what I love doing, but as days, weeks, months and years go by, they will not have that same feeling they once had because then it becomes work. Then you have to actually train your mind into doing it because there is an outcome/reward attached to it, the whole concept is a mess. That is why when doing anything, remove the end goal, and do with your internal compass. That way no external factor can play a role into any discouragement. There is a high component on pleasure from a growth mindset, it is the total opposite of dull, uncomfortable and unrewarding. No person other then yourself should know what a growth mindset has done for you on a mind, body and soul level.

- 🥇 External rewards can reduce intrinsic motivation for enjoyable activities. - ⌛ Pursuing end rewards distorts perception of time, dissociating pleasure from the effort itself. - 🧠 A growth mindset focused on the process avoids this reward dissociation. - 💪 Consciously attaching pleasure to the friction and effort itself is key. - 🔥 People who derive rewards from effort itself, like David Goggins, are revered. - 🧠 Our brain's dopamine circuitry allows accessing pleasure from effort. - ✨ Lying to yourself that is pleasurable can make it feel rewarding over time. - 📈 Avoid spiking dopamine from external sources before or after effort.
