Overcoming a Difficult Puppy

Cha Cha as we know at this point is hard headed. But that's my fault at the end of the day because I did not take her through my normal process. Stan also overcomes some of his own personal doubts about his skills. Lets see how these two fair in the end.

Puppies are definitely never going to do what you want until they've had a lot of teaching and practice of whatever your teaching them. Some dogs are easier but this pup is my first actively stubborn pup who is stubborn when I try to teach her.

Cha cha is a lot like Chloe just a bit older. She's 9 weeks now and I've had her for 2 weeks. I might just be jumping the gun or forgetting that my other pups were just as stubborn. Chloe is so beautiful as a perfect example. I have to find a perfect male that's not as stubborn when Chloe is 18 months or 2 years old

Man my bully is the same. I had him in training but I couldn't afford it anymore. 🥴 He's so stubborn, he resource guards and I can't take him around people. He definitely hates when people come to the house. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Lol my bully pup Chloe is such a stubborn little girl I'm having a hard time getting her to come. Trying her is challenging compared to every other pup I've trained .I'm 45 and have been training dogs since I was 12. Most were Rottweiler and pit bulls. Chloe is the first one I've had that has been so damn stubborn.

Our dogs instinctively obey all family members and they seem to understand the hierarchy, and prioritize protecting the small children. And If a person came around that didn't have the family name or bloodline the dogs were friendly and cordial, but lower on the priority list. For our purposes it wasn't an issue.

I’ll have Cha Cha on point, tons of potential. I started training with my bully early at 6 weeks. They all go thru that hard headed stage but stick to the process. The outcome is amazing.

I start training at 7 weeks (just 10 minutes several times a day). Early and often and fun!! I also think males are easier to train then females.
