Overcoming Fear | Finding the confidence & courage to start your business.

So many makers let their lack of confidence hold them back from starting their business (or starting something new within their existing business).
There are many reasons to feel a lack of confidence - but while confidence breeds success... the inverse is also true.
By putting yourself out there, failing a LOT, and sometimes finding success, you'll grow your knowledge, courage, and confidence.
Because success also breeds confidence!
The more little steps forward you can make, the easier the next steps will be.

Fear of failure is holding me back. However, I feel that this is the best time to start as I lost my job because of COVID and have nothing but time. I like what you said about not waiting for the universe to signal. I think I am guilty of that. Thanks for this video.

Great video Jess. This “getting ready” but not actually starting has been exactly my state for the past two years. I’ve been inspired over the past couple of months - waiting for mum children to start school...and this week I’m going to open my shop. :) Like you say, I have to just start, get going and move up from there.

LOVE this! Some how I discovered you around Xmas time. (maybe fate?) I really connect with your teaching, how you communicate, express yourself, describe things and your analogies. I have struggled with starting (properly my biz) confidence, fear of failing, and my big one at the moment, cash flow/bills, underwater right now. BUT you say it is NEVER the perfect time to start. I look forward to joining the Thriver Circle...I love how you out line it and one new thing a week (plus of course tuning in to podcasts/videos/blog/etc...that is great schedule to not feel overwhelmed. So sorry about the wildfires so scary! I hope you are in a place that is not too much affected. Awful what you guys are going thru!!
