I have felt many of these fears. When people criticized my books it devastated me. And I’m sorry to say after 23 published Christian romance novels, their comments, and the fear of future comments, destroyed my creativity. I even lost my writer’s voice trying to please others. Fear of rejection and fear of man won. Unfortunately. If only I’d known of Daystar and Table talk a few years back I might have trudged forward and kept writing. All I wanted to do was minister God’s Grace and salvation through them. Anyway, thank you for the honesty you all have shared. I love Table Talk. Keep up the awesome work. Joni, I would surely appreciate your testimony with the grieving process after Marcus passed that is perhaps lengthier than what you shared today. My husband was on death's bed with covid a couple months after Marcus. Praise God he did not pass! However, I know one day, if Jesus tarries, that he could pass before me. I believe your testimony in this area would encourage so many who are widowed. I've certainly kept my eyes on you in amazement of how well you've done/are doing. I pray for you and your family. I was encouraged by my circle of women to be a Stay at home mom and trust God for provision. I took that advice I have bigger sweet feelings about that. We struggled financially I think my kids suffered yet one of them truly wanted to know I was home when she got home from school . I am now totally out of balance. I am now a grandmother and struggle to work. Technology hasn’t helped matters any. I’m stuck In a rut 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

"What if " you fear being alone after your husband dies? Instead of waiting to see who the Lord had for you, you listened to someone who told you when a man comes into your life to not be afraid but just go for it. That was the enemy's open door to send the one God had NOT chosen for you and that's who you took. God have mercy. The whole thing has been a concoction of enemy lies to make the public think you are okay with what you did to the wife of a covenant-marriage she has with her husband and God Almighty and still does! It is coming out from an eyewitness friend that the former wife was the one being abused.

Joni, My bestie wants me to go babysit her kids while she goes to a women's conference in Texas..(Sept 15th through the 16th) I've been agonizing over what to do. I don't wanna let her down, but I really want to obey God more. Now, I had decided to go, but today she told me her kids are sick, possibly with covid.. (first of all, please pray for them?) But I feel God saying no now. I struggle with pleasing people... So, How do I handle this? What do I say? It might be decided if the kids test positive.. But if not.. what about the future? My husband is saying he doesn't want me to go anyway.

Sorry,she recently married to Doug not David . You mixed up their names but I feel your pain as well but she is already married to him even though I don’t think it is the right decision but all we need to do now is to commit the Lamb’s family to God and that the Holy Spirit will begin to guide their decisions and actions in all aspects including Doug and all they do moving forward and that their eyes be opened!
