OVERDUE! My SLS AMG Black Series is BACK IN ACTION

A James Bond villain needs a suitable car, and in Spectre that was the Jaguar C-X75! While it never went into production, Callum have converted this movie car to be road legal, and today I'm heading to the Bicester Scramble to check it out. Come along in my SLS Black Series to see what's around!
I remember filming the concept C-X75 at the Paris Motorshow back in 2010; initially suggested to have a turbine before swapping that for a hybrid powertrain - ahead of the holy trinity of the LaFerrari, 918 Spyder and P1. However, it never went into production and instead was revised to appear in the 2015 James Bond movie, Spectre.
Equipped with the popular Jaguar 5.0l supercharged V8, the movie cars were built to be functional and this particular example is chassis number 7. In the hands of Kaaimans, the work has now been done by Callum to make changes required to get it through IVA testing - including replacing the windows with approved glass, revising the suspension system, creating new mirrors to replace the previous foam ones, and numerous other bodywork changes to meet approvals.
It's not the only car that stands out at Bicester Heritage today though, with the most incredible McLaren line-up showcasing an F1, P1, Speedtail, Elva, Senna and Artura, plus Lotus bringing their Evija, Emira GT4 and Type 66, and so much more as we wander around.
I'm also taking a look at the line-up from The Little Car Company, where company founder Ben Hedley takes us on a walk around their offerings including the Bentley Blower Junior and the new Tamiya 'grown-up' RC car that's become real.
What a great day, what a stretch of the legs for the SLS Black Series, and thanks to Ben, plus the Bicester Motion team for their hospitality.

The original plan was to fit a 1.6 litre hybrid engine designed by the Williams F1 team. In 2014 this was part of the Formula 1 regulations and still is to this day. Imagine having a car that's four years ahead of Formula 1! LaFerrari hit the streets in three years later and McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 five years later. I think the Jaguar X-C75 could have saved the brand.

There was a global financial crisis going on at the time. Jaguar didn't think it was wise to release such an expensive car at that time.

CX75 was such an epic car. I was chatting to Dickie Stamford of Williams at Goodwood FOS who did much of the work to bring the car to life. 30 mins I chatted to Dickie about this. Awesome chap and excellent insight to this unicorn.

The SLS is one of my dream cars. Always nice to see it out and about. This Mercedes is going to be very valuable one day. It's already moving up in price here in the States. I do wish more was said about the real CX-75 with the insane Williams 1.6L Twin charged hybrid engine that went like the proverbial off a shovel and sounded insane! The original concept was powered by a jet turbine as well.

@@josephj807 There was a static display with the "Promised" jet turbine to power it but this is jaguar we are talking about, cost became an issue before it hit the test stage, then williams came in with their insane twin charge hybrid engine, CEO knocked it on the head and then when Bond wanted to use the cars they shoved the trusty JLR 5.0L V8 in for the purpose.

The SLS is just the perfect driving car. The paint and the wheels look so good for the lines of the car. The sound is just loud enough and doesn’t sound like it drones. Just an overall amazing car

The Jaguar C-X75 has an amazing exterior with such great lines. I would love to see a production street legal version with twin turbos and around 700+ BHP.
