Don't buy the wax with a funnel. It'll cause leaks trust me. Buy the regular without the funnel and youll be just fine

Thanks for the demonstration and explanation of the blockage beyond the trap, after removing the toilet I found that roots had grow around and down the pipe and there was only a 1” opening for the waste to go down, I cleaned everything out and the toilet works great.

After placing the bolts in the flange , place a metal washer followed by a nut the both bolts and tighten them to flange and that with hold the bolts sturdy making it easier to set the toilet and much easier to pull in the future.

oh my glad i saw this, one of the toilets has for a long time been having problems, it wants to over flow but stops at rim, but i have noticed the little place in the bowl where water comes out, they are seem to be crusted over, like hard water, like it would take a chisel to get the stuff off, calcified? anyways then i notice it takes a long time for tank to fill up, water hardly dribbles out of the thing the water fills the bowl tank with, i will get a auger thingy, but man i wish i had some help, i cant imagine ME taking the toilet off to get down inside it of the septic pipe, that also runs down thru the basement, LORD HELP ME,

I watched this last week after months of poor flushes, the need for repeated flashes and a couple overflows....my solution was to turn off the water flow, flush the toilet....add a bottle of Zep concentrated rust and lime dissolver into the tank....flush again , add another bottle of Zep to the tank and let sit overnight....a week later it flushes like champ.

I need your help Is there a fitting or a toilet out there that does not allow water to come back up the toilet. Only lets it go down I can't have water coming up out of the toilet I've been getting floods. And I know they make fittings where water can only go down the toilet It won't send water out it

I'd say just buy the tool. You should be able to find one for less than $20. I have one for a sink that I've used in a pinch and I scratched my toilet but I got it fixed. I'll buy the right tool next time
