Best video ever! My daughter flushed a large necklace down the toilet and she didn't tell me what she had done. I tried the plunger, dish soap and baking soda with vinegar. I finally got a plumber which pushed it down further. The toilet has been working fine now but she just flushed a night light down and it's clogged up again! I'm off to buy an auger and new wax ring. Awesome video! My child flushed Apple slices and a spoon down the toilet and I had this issue. I used a similar toilet auger that I purchased from Home Depot after watching this video and it pulled it all out, including the spoon! This video is amazing! I’ve never done anything like this before. But my nephew flushed some toys down the toilet. I bought a snake and it wasn’t working. Watched this video and got to work. After I took the toilet seat off,and didn’t see anything at the bottom, I got a bit discouraged. I took the snake and worked it from the bottom of the toilet and the Lego popped right out. I can’t believe I did that all by myself. Thank you so much for the knowledge 🙏🏽

Thank you for the vid. My two year old has just confessed to putting "the orange car in tha toilet" so rather than snake it or plunge it FURTHER into the system, potentially causing bigger headaches down the line...I'm going straight to the toilet removal. It's only the cost of a new Jonny ring (and maybe 45 minutes of my time) rather than having to have a plumber come out to snake the line between the house and the street.

I accidentally dropped a small aerosol air freshener can in the toilet as it flushed.... it went bye bye. We tried all of the things you suggested and finally found it exactly where the cars ended up. However, the aerosol can was just too big to fit around the last curve in the toilet. Not really sure how it managed to make it through the other twists. We could see it, touch it, move it, but the hole wasn't quite big enough to pull it out. (sniff sniff) We had to purchase a new toilet. Thank you for the guidance!!

Thank you. I managed to drop the top of this re-usable water bottle as it flushed, almost grabbed it but too late (yes even adults can drop things down there). You have made me feel better that it is not the end of the world. The frustrating thing for me is I do put the toilet lid down, not because my wife demands it but to keep things from falling in, then I come up with this. Luckily we do have two toilets so that is nice and I am older so may have to call a plumber, pay for my sins 😊

This is an amazingly useful video. I have a blockage right now because my son broke the toilet brush and it got stuck in the u-bend. I’ve tried pulling it out but it seems to have gone further in. I’m going to borrow a snake stick today and try that. I’ve had to notify my landlord who isn’t happy. Oops

Very good video, but I would’ve demonstrated the last part: removal of the old ring and installation of the new ring. In addition, there are various ring types in the big stores. One ring is not even wax. I wonder how effective THAT is?

no way to access one of these tools, and the toilet has been concreted to the floor :/ my daughter's friend was flushing pads down there and it's effed... I'm trying to find out how I can make a wire coat hanger bend through the s-bend, and hopefully somehow hook them. Did you ever find a solution? My son just flushed "the blue squishy ball" down our toilet and didn't inform me until AFTER he took a huge dump and it got clogged. We just moved into our apartment 2 weeks ago and it's government housing for low income individuals, hence, no "landlord" to call, and my responsibility to fix... with no money, vehicle, or help. I feel your pain and am beyond overwhelmed at this point! Was hoping to find some kind of do it yourself solution that didn't involve any repair or replace costs. @@cornyconnie. hey could you buy a plunger? one would hope if its just the lodged toy then the pressure from the plunger suctioning could loosen it! I can usually get anything out with a plunger. This issue actually turned out to be a sewer pipe that had blocked for years and had finally backed up so much that the loo couldn't flush - the landlord had to get a plumber here with bulldozers to dig everything up 😭. Your issue won't be anywhere near that bad!!! Watch lots of KZbin videos you might find a solution on here!! Good luck i hope it works out okay 💚💚💚
