A very nice organ when it was in use. These old houses were meant to last a lifetime. The old furniture even though out dated, were the mode in the 1960's. This house must have been a beautifull house in it's day.💗💗💪

Back in the day, it was actually very common for a husband and wife not to share the same bed, but they would sleep in the same room. I would say 20 or maybe 30 years on this place, so you know most breaker or fuse boxes they should have a date of installation or date of inspection on them, it will give you an idea of when upgrades were done.

I just found you! New sub here. Great job on zooming in on specific items like that newspaper. It's always the little things that tell the story! Good job!

I've got some old newspapers from the 30's. It's interesting to see the old adds: Steak 10¢ a pound.

I just bought a battery for a 2004 Ford Taurus and paid over $200. Yes that is crazy inflation. I remember I could get a used car battery for $10 in the 19 70s. I just have a question for you what would you do if the owner of the house came home while you were inside?

I zoom around on google maps and find abandoned houses. They have a very distinct and unique look that shows out to me. I usually save this point on my map and visit it in the future. I don’t find these houses like most urban explorers do, i find them the “raw” way. That’s by spending hours and hours analyzing areas and zooming around in random places in every state. I’ve found a lot of cool things that I plan on visiting in the future, i will probably make a video about how i find these places. 👍
