Glad to see you back. Tell your Mum that she has nothing to be ashamed of with her plant/craft/office. She should see mine. I can get to my 'young plnat/propagation shelves'. But the rest is a 'no go'. We can't use either of the sewing machines, I haven't seen my CNC, don't think I finished setting it up. The crafting table is covered with partially done crafts and non-starters. Part of the reason was a stroke I had in Dec 2019 and the two othere's since. I just don't have the "get-up-and go" to get up and sort it when I get in there. Oh well one day I will, (maybe).

Tell your dad the best way that I have found with avocado is to wrap the seed in a damp paper towel and throw it in a ziplock bag, set in a place he can see it but forget about it for a couple weeks. It will grow roots and sprout within weeks. My biggest guy is 8 ft tall here in my living room in NJ.

It’s heartwarming to see children caring and loving their parents so much like you are doing. I am sure your Mom was so happy to see you and to have you home those few weeks. The grandbaby will have helped uplift her so much!

Give your mom a hug for me and tell her she is a great mom & grandma! #1 she is showing you all a good example, by choosing self care. #2 you look fantastic & it is very quiet. So far…into the cabinet we go !

She was so ashamed but I kept trying to reassure her that she did nothing wrong! I’m glad she chose to prioritize herself and not stretch too thin just to care for plants. I just feel bad I didn’t even know she was going through a depression. This entire process reminded me I need to check in with her more often 🥺

OMG Your dad’s email noise just reminded me about his special towel comment you had made recently was shocked then worried for you! lol I am sure it was fine But now I am not starving like I was lol ! fast before having a colonoscopy! Tomorrow @1pm It still looks great it’s a fun ficus!

@@unplantparenthoodI am sure she was stressing trying to maybe not let you know because your hands are pretty full now with new baby a baby, so don’t you feel bad, you get a pass new moms get that your doing right by being laser focus on your newbaby & new lifestyle. Just make sure to carve out a sliver of time for yourself for self care too ❤

Wonderful video, thank you. Could you explain in a video how to create a bulb at the bottom of a ficus like your mother? I have a feeling it is similar to a bonsai, she must keep it small. Wow! What a specimen!!

I find it overwhelming to pull things out and clean the shelves and then put stuff back. Most of mine is on open bamboo shelves where if there is dust, you can’t see it.
