Greg, just a small question, is the overhead squat an exercise you would program as an accessory exercise for an intermediate/advanced lifter or is it better to just focus on front and back squats for building strength?

As a novice who is currently at 55kg in the snatch. This is my go to accessory. Why? Provides me with huge confidence knowing I can control the bar at the bottom and up, teaching me as Greg says to “push the bar up”. Whilst also building strength in the overhead position. 👌🏻 Any tips for overhead strength building?

If you keep hook overhead when you snatch, yes; if not, no.

I have a wider stance in my over-squat compared to my standard squat. Is this an issue?

Indicates a mobility limitation you're working around - you should be able to use the same squat stance.

Question: what % of your snatch should you use for 3, 2 and 1 reps? Assuming that the ratio of this move to your snatch is actually helpful.
