Thanks for watching! Something I want to add. When I spoke about the sound that is with ANC ON (this is just what I do in every review). With ANC OFF or Transparency on I prefer the sound. The bass and mids are fuller plus the treble is slightly less sibilant.

Cool thing I found out. Once you active the noise cancel in the app, you can just tap the button to switch from ambiance and noise cancel.

Another great Picky review. I got my 3anc when they were first released & they're still my favorite in my collection, even over the MTW4. That's just my opinion. They're way more comfortable than I thought they'd be too

@pickyaudio they don't have the best ANC or transparency mode, but they both are usable and decent in my opinion but the sound quality is the catch. I can get whatever sound I'm wanting and crazy volume too. I easily recommend them personally. Besides all that, thanks for another great Picky review and keep up the good work 💯💪👍

Well after trying all of them my pick is 3ANC and all the other ones were returned and zero regrets! You do not expand on things enough such as multipoint to make folks realize how easy it is to listen to 2 devices! No other device is as great as 3 ANC. I have mine for almost a year no issue whatsoever and in changing ear tips I broke the left one. Status sent me a new one for free no questions asked.

Basically every earbud today has multipoint. You can connect two devices to the earbuds. Some have takeover some don’t. Thats very important to some and not others

@@pickyaudio just to say ANC 3 is the most responsive of all of them! To me it might not be better in “gizmoz” but does a decent job generally and incredible sound quality. And yes AZ80 is great yet not worth double the price compared to 3ANC. FYI my second best is Oneplus Buds 3 and that one got pretty much all gizmoz. So the two combined cost the same as an AZ80…

I'm still using and loving my Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ the passive noise reduction is better than any ANC earbuds I've tried and the sound is just wonderful, I forget I'm wearing them. They've now brought out the M100 as a replacement and I know you have to fork out to buy these buds but it would be mighty interesting to know how they stack up against the best, especially as they are not overly expensive.

I have Soundpeats Engine 4 and Opera 5. Is it worth getting AZ80 ? Because they are quite expensive. All I care about is sound quality and good fit so I can use them while working out. I dont care about ANC and other features.

I'm curious to know your opinion of the Bang & Olufen Beoplay EX earbuds. I have a pair and love them, but my complaint is that even though they're securely in your ears, they don't feel secure. I also think the ANC could've been better for B&O's £350 GBP price point.

Thanks for the review! One question--do you know if you can have ANC entirely off during phone calls? You mentioned that whatever setting it is on before a call is what you'll get during a call, but unsure if you have ANC/transparency off before the call if it'll stay off? I ask because I've now run into trouble with both the Technics AZ80 and the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2. Both of them have ANC on during phone calls and you can't turn it off completely. I get sick from ANC so need it off. BTW I did donate/purchase your spreadsheet. Very helpful!

It’s really neck and neck. I’ve been using the 3ANC more often probably just cause they’re new. AZ80 is better overall and more sound options in the app. Superbass is a bit boomy you can get better sub bass on a pair like the sen Mom 4.

I hqve elite 10 gen 2. You will not be dissapointed trust me. Deep bass very clear sound and very loud and they are Very Very Comfortable. I ve made so much research before I purchased them.

Depends on your patience and budget. Usually when the new one releases, they would tend to price it higher than the old one anyway. I'd say buy the Liberty 4 NC unless your budget can handle the higher cost of the upcoming one

I bought a pair and drop them on the floor and a wire came loose internally, and apparently Sennheiser said that there's nothing that they can do about it, meaning any warranty that they say they have is effectively useless if you break anything, as far as sound quality the bass on those things kind of sucks for how much they cost

Excellent review. I’ve got the Status Between ANC, AirPods Pro 2 and has many others from Sony, earfun, edifier, Sennheiser… I love the status Between ANC. They were under $200 and sound superb with iOS and Android devices (using Spinfit tips). The triple drivers help give these a depth of enjoyment, for all genres of music as well as spoken word. Fantastic comfort. Battery life is superb. Design unique. Only downsides for me are not the best transparency, case could be smaller and anc isn’t the best. The Apple AirPods Pro balance these perfectly I also hand several wired IEMs which I use with a FIIO btr 13.

This review is bullshit, I suspect a backhander was offered, I’ve had the 3ANC for over a year, and for the RRP or even 50% off I cannot recommend a purchase. The Denon AH-C830NCW is a far superior bud, only bested by the 3ANCs battery life. Don’t fall for the “3 driver” hype, any audiophile should know that even in speakers more drivers aren’t necessarily better. It’s all about the implementation, the crossover, the cabinet, and quality of the drivers, and all this is bloody challenging to implement well, in a tiny earbud. The ANC on the 3ANC is 10dB at best, barely better than passive isolation, and though the sound isn’t bad, you can achieve the equivalent with $40 EarFun buds, with far superior ANC and a better App + better CODECS. The Denons though, don’t sound like your listening through buds, the transparency and spatial separation is a pleasure to listen to. Acoustic tracks really come to life, something that the 3ANCs just fail to do. At the end of the day, yes they have 3 drivers but it’s not a very flat response, and all those sounds still get mixed up through the same hole before they exit the unit. I don’t think the sound guides have been well optimised and they rely too much on the 3 driver gimmick to carry these buds through. Remember Sony also launched 2,3,4 driver buds, none of them did well and aren’t available today.

Agree, I haven't tried the ones you mentioned, but these made my ears break out and get infected, nearly immediately. There are many buds with equal capability. Pamu Z1 pro were easily as good, and those were 3 years ago.

Ive got the az80 and i got them because of all the great reviews, and although i do like them i was Dissapointed, i like my music loud, and theyre just not. Theyre super comfortable and do sound good and the noise canceling works good. But the galaxy buds pro 2 i returned i thought actually sounded better and had more features they just didnt fit well at all. At this point Ive jusy basicly accepted that im not gonna find a set that are actually loud and just make due with what ive got. 🤷‍♂️

Bro... No... How could you have listed the Between 3ANC below Apple AirPods pro 2? AirPods are awful in general. I hope you know that out of the box and with their EQ alone they do not live up to the expectations of what true audiophiles are used to. Install Sound ID and customize the EQ further. If they don't have heavy heady slow hitting bass while having clear mids and crisp highs then you do not have your EQ set up correctly for them to go Super Saiyan Beast Mode.
